BENGALURU, 4 AUGUST, 2025 (GPN): Brik Oven, the homegrown brand that brought Neapolitan-style pizza to Bengaluru, has introduced its brand new addition of a 100 percent whole wheat sourdough crust. Available at no extra cost for dine-in guests, the new crust is fermented for up to 72 hours and fired the Brik Oven way high heat, wood flames, and blistered perfection — delivering a hearty bite with the same delicious soul. The new base is now available across all 10 Brik Oven outlets in the city.
Developed over months of R&D and experimenting, the new base is rich, slightly nutty, and adds a rustic depth to Brik Oven’s signature light, airy texture. The brand’s most-loved pizzas are now available with this new crust. The Pepperoni with mozzarella, salty pepperoni and hearty tomato sauce, gets a more robust base. The Bird in Hand combines roast chicken, red chilli, and creamy blue cheese for bold flavour with a rustic finish. For vegetarians, there’s the Massive Vibe layered with spinach, sun-dried tomatoes and mushrooms, and the Stracciatello, where confit cherry tomatoes and basil pesto meet fresh stracciatella.
“The whole wheat crust gives our guests another way to enjoy the pizzas they already love just with a slightly different flavour and feel,” said Anirudh Nopany, Co-founder of Brik Oven.
The launch builds on Brik Oven’s core approach high-quality ingredients, handmade mozzarella, San Marzano tomato sauce, and a time-honoured sourdough process — now with the option of a whole wheat base for those looking for something a little fuller, without compromising on flavour.

Whole Wheat Sourdough Pizzas are now available for dine-in and delivery across all Brik Oven outlets in Bengaluru: Indiranagar (HAL 2nd Stage), HSR Layout, Bellandur, Palace Road, Church Street, Sarjapur, Manyata Tech Park, Whitefield, Kanakapura Road, and Koramangala.
