Sports For All (SFA): An initiative Empowering Indian Sports through grassroots

MUMBAI, MAY 24th, 2023 (GPN): Sports For All (SFA), India’s largest tech-enabled multi-sport grassroots competition platform, is evangelising the joy of playing sports. SFA Championships are India’s largest school-level championship, enabling an opportunity for youth to unleash their fullest potential through joyful and inspiring sporting experiences. Transforming sports at the grassroots level to discover the number one school for sports in India.

Driving towards this mission, SFA will be hosting 10 championships within a span of 4months, ensuring over 2,00,000 kids get to play in 2023, a feat previously unheard of.

Sports For All is democratising access to sports. With a spirit to make this phygital platform synonymous with sports, the dream is to curate a talent pool that someday competes at the Olympics.

The common thread that bound Joshi and Choksi together, was a combination of their passion to play diverse sports and professional experience with sporting leagues that helped them understand the need for a stronger foundation in grassroots sports. “SFA Championships is revolutionising the way school sports is experienced in India.Building one unifying platform to discover talent at the click of a button, across multi-sports, is how SFA has envisioned to enable 150 championships across 50 cities in the next 5years. The magnanimity of this opportunity is what we want each and every stakeholder to internalise, as we take school sports to the centre stage”.

SFA is empanelled with the Sports Authority of India (SAI), is an official partner of Team India under the aegis of the Indian Olympic Association (IOA) and is a sponsor of the Khelo India Youth Games, for the next five editions (until 2028).SFA has join hands with Team India as the OFFICIAL PARTNER of the Indian Olympic Team! Sports for All (SFA) is India’s largest tech-enabled multi-sport grassroots competition platform.
The vision of the organization is to make youth fall in love with sports through inspiring and joyful sporting experiences. The 36th National Games, Gujarat, 2022 and Khelo India Youth Games, Haryana, 2021 were powered by the SFA IP, the ‘Games Management System (GMS) as part of the Services portfolio. Previously, SFA has also managed editions of Khelo India Youth Games in Pune, Guwahati, and Panchkula.
