MUMBAI, 15 AUGUST, 2022 (GPN): On the occasion of 75th Independence Day – Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, The Government of India is celebrating the Diamond Jubilee of Independence to commemorate it and welcome India’s 76th Independence day today. The central government has decided to decorate the historic buildings, places of significance and monum in various cities across the country to be illuminated with Tricolour on this special occasion. But that rule will not apply in case of Taj Mahal. Due to a special directive of the Supreme Court, no lighting can be done in the Taj Mahal at night.
