
36,000 Entrepreneurs & 1.44 Lakh Jobs: The 2031 VisionSpanning from 2026 to 2031, the high-impact campaign aims to nurture 36,000 Rural Micro Entrepreneurs (RMEs) across all 36 districts of Maharashtra. This widespread economic movement is projected to create over 1.44 lakh local employment opportunities and generate an annual financial turnover of approximately ₹3,600 crore by its third year. Additionally, MACCIA plans to develop 300 social entrepreneurs to spearhead community-centric development.
President Ravindra Mangawe emphasized that the initiative will empower rural youth, women, farmers, and self-help groups by providing comprehensive training, technology, financial backing, and seamless integration with government welfare schemes—effectively transforming job seekers into job creators.
Chief Minister Fadnavis assured full government alignment, stating that the administration stands firmly behind MACCIA’s vision to help propel Maharashtra toward its goal of becoming a one-trillion-dollar economy.
Supporting this, Industry Minister Uday Samant announced that the state’s Industry Department will soon sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with MACCIA to offer institutional support. Furthermore, the government and the chamber will jointly launch the ‘Udyojak Janata Darbar’ (Entrepreneurs’ Public Court), a fast-track platform designed for the direct and speedy redressal of industrial and business grievances.
The high-profile event at Yashwantrao Chavan Pratishthan was attended by key political figures, including industrial minister Uday Samant. Assembly Speaker Rahul Narwekar, MLA Satyajit Patil, MLA, Rajesh Patil yedravkar.
