Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal has said India and the US have finalised most elements of the first phase of the bilateral trade agreement, and negotiations are now focused on a few minor issues, “commas and full stops”. He said that the US team is in New Delhi to hold talks on finalising the first phase of Bilateral Trade Agreement (BTA).

2. India has formally issued the Letter of Request to France for the acquisition of 114 Rafale fighter jets in a government-to-government deal valued at approximately ₹3.25 lakh crore.

2. Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney has warned that antisemitism in the country has reached levels not seen since World War II.
