MUMBAI, GPN/ SACHIN MURDESHWAR 📞 8108510506/ 9869646783:
The Republican Party envisioned by Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar has been expanded across the country. While Maharashtra has multiple factions of the Republican Party, there is no factionalism outside the state. The party has been established in 28 states and 8 Union Territories, where no other Republican factions exist.
To ensure that a single, united Republican Party stands strong, the formation of new factions must be stopped. Instead of creating new groups, smaller and larger factions should merge into one unified and powerful Republican Party. Following this appeal, there has been a strong response from society across Maharashtra.
Republican Sena’s Mumbai President, Prakash Khandagale, along with hundreds of his supporters, officially joined the Republican Party led by Union Minister Ramdas Athawale, as announced by the National President of the Republican Party and Union Minister of State for Social Justice, Ramdas Athawale.
Earlier, responding to the same appeal, Milind Surve, President of the Maharashtra People’s Republican Party, had also merged his group into the Republican Party.
Several small organizations and Republican factions across the state are in favor of unity. Ramdas Athawale expressed confidence that many such groups would respond positively and merge into a single, united Republican Party under his leadership.
Prakash Khandagale stated that instead of forming new factions and increasing divisions, it is important to strengthen a unified Republican Party under the leadership of Ramdas Athawale. Expressing unwavering trust in his leadership, Khandagale formally joined the Republican Party of India (Athawale) along with hundreds of supporters, taking Athawale’s blessings.
Ramdas Athawale welcomed Prakash Khandagale into the party.
On this occasion, several prominent leaders were present, including:
Siddharth Kasare (Mumbai President), Avinash Mahatekar (National General Secretary), Gautam Sonawane (State General Secretary), Balasaheb Garud (Working President, Mumbai), Vivek Pawar (Mumbai General Secretary), and District President Prakash Jadhav.
Many workers also joined along with Khandagale in the presence of Ramdas Athawale. Among those present were leaders and members such as:
Sadik Shaikh, Samsuddin Shaikh, Sultan Siddiqui, Shahbaz Shaikh, Sarfaraz Siddiqui, Latif Shaikh, Mujib Ansari, Ibrahim Shaikh, Firoz Shaikh, Zamir Khan and team, Shamsher Ansari, Ismail Shaikh, Saif Khan, Wasim Shaikh, Sahil Shaikh, Rohit Khandagale (youth leader), Sunil Teli, Sameer Khot, Sunil Gaikwad, and several others.
Representatives from various communities, social organizations, and political groups were also present, including members from the Matang community, Muslim community, and other social groups, along with numerous local leaders, office bearers, and social workers from across Mumbai and nearby regions.
The event saw participation from a large number of supporters and leaders, reflecting growing momentum toward unity within the Republican movement.
