The medical seminar, titled “Conquering MS Disabilities,” Mumbai brought together neurologists, rehabilitation specialists, and allied experts to deliberate on early diagnosis challenges, evolving treatment approaches, and the importance of comprehensive care in MS.

Although Multiple Sclerosis (MS) has been recognized globally for over a century, it remains significantly under-diagnosed in India. Experts emphasize that delays in diagnosis frequently result in preventable and irreversible disability, which severely compromises long-term patient outcomes. The recent discussions centered on aspects, including enhancing early recognition, fortifying referral pathways, and ensuring timely, suitable treatment interventions to positively impact the trajectory of the disease.
