Former MLC Brijesh Singh Felicitated with Mace and 51-kg Garland
BHADOHI, 25 SEPTEMBER, 2025 (GPN/ SACHIN MURDESHWAR 📞 8108510506): Former Member of Legislative Council (MLC) and prominent Purvanchal strongman, Shri Brijesh Singh, was accorded a grand welcome on Sunday at the Shiv Mandir located in the Suriyawan police station premises. Nagar Panchayat Chairman Vinay Chaurasia honored Shri Brijesh Singh by presenting him with a 51-kg garland of flowers and a symbolic mace.
During the visit, Singh offered prayers to Lord Shiva at the temple, performing rituals with due tradition. Addressing the gathering, Mr. Brijesh Singh remarked, “Whatever responsibility the people entrust me with for public service, I will continue to fulfill it with dedication.”
Accompanying Shri Brijesh Singh, Mr. Sanjay—representative of sitting MLC Annapurna Singh—announced the construction of an 800-meter-long CC road in Ward No. 5 of the town. Chairman Chaurasia expressed gratitude to both the former and current MLCs as well as Annapurna Singh’s representative for supporting the development initiative.
The event was attended by several prominent figures and community members, including Ramakant Jaiswal, Manu Singh, Punjabi Modanwal, Jalaluddin Siddiqui, Girija Shankar, Abhishek Kumar, Tony Singh, Ritesh Singh, Gopal Vicky Singh, and Vijay Verma, among hundreds of others.
