Construction of Chetna Naka to Newali Naka and U-type road in Kalyan East

MUMBAI, 19 JULY, 2025 (GPN/ SANJAY GIRI): Due to the consistent follow-up of Kalyan Lok Sabha constituency MP Dr. Shrikant Eknath Shinde, the road fromChetna Naka to Newali Naka in Kalyan East will be concretized, for which MMRDA has given administrative approval for a fund of Rs 124.87 crore and the tender for
the road work will be floated soon. Meanwhile, the U-type road from Katemanivali, Siddharthnagar, Teesgaon Naka in Kalyan East is an important road. MMMRDA has given administrative approval for a fund of Rs 76.88 crore for the cement concreting of this road. The tender for the road work will also be floated soon.

With the construction of this road, traffic in Kalyan East will get more speed. Many ambitious projects are being taken up in the constituency on the initiative of KalyanLokSabha constituency MP Dr. Shrikant Eknath Shinde. The Kalyan Ring Road, Metro Project, Flyover, Bridge over the Creek, etc., which have been completed in various cities of the constituency with funds worth crores of rupees, have made the traffic in the
constituency smoother.

Against this backdrop, two roads that are important for traffic in Kalyan city have received administrative approval. There was a demand that the road from Chetna Naka to Newali Naka in Kalyan East should be cement concretized. As per this demand, this road will be cement concretized. MMRDA has given administrative approval for a fund of Rs 124.87 crore for the cement concretization of this road. Tenders for the road work will be
floated soon. KalyanChetna Naka to Newali is an important road. From Kalyan, this road goes to Malang Gad, and it also meets the Katai road in Ambernath at Newali Naka. This road can be used to go to Khoni Taloja, Panvel, Pune, Navi Mumbai, Badlapur, Karjat. This road will connect both
Kalyan Rural and Kalyan East assembly constituencies.

There was a demand that this road should be made of cement. Accordingly, MP Dr.ShrikantShinde followed up and the road was approved. Also, the U-type road between Katemanivali, Siddharthnagar, and Teesgaon Naka in
