CM Eknath Shinde inaugurated the first phase of Electronics Semiconductor Project of RRP Company at Mahape MIDC in Thane District here. On this occasion Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis , Deputy CM Ajit Pawar,  Bharat Ratna Sachin Tendulkar , Senior Scientist Padma Bhushan Dr. Anil Kakodkar,  Industry Minister Uday Samanth, Principal Secretary, Industries Department Dr. Harshdeep Kamble , Development Commissioner (Industries) Dipendra Singh Kushwaha , Thane Collector Ashok Shingare , Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation Commissioner Kailas Shinde, Mumbai Police Force One Chief Krishna Prakash, Navi Mumbai Police Commissioner Milind Bhambre, of RRP Electronics Limited Chief Executive Officer Rajendra Chodankar​ and other dignitaries were present.

Chief Minister Mr.​ Eknath Shinde said, Our Government has kept its promise, Ladaki Bahin scheme has successfully demonstrated this. Other schemes are also being implemented successfully. Work is going on at a fast pace to complete various projects. Because of Atal Setu From Mumbai to Navi Mumbai Two hours journey can be made in 20 minutes now.We are the project that brings change in Maharashtra and opposition has realized.

The state government has signed industrial agreements worth five lakh crores in Daos. People will get jobs. The Electronics Semiconductor unit will employ 400 people. Advance technology is coming to our state through this.  This  Governance is for all . By providing subsidies to entrepreneurs our economy has come above to fifth position from the earlier eleven position by effort of PM Modi.

Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis said that everyone is proud that the first semiconductor project in India is starting in our Maharashtra. A Marathi man started this project for the first time in India at this place.I am happy that Maharashtra is the first state to frame its own policy in the semiconductor sector. As digitization is increasing rapidly, the electronic and digital ecosystem is changing our entire life.  The coming times in the industrial sector are going to be bright for India.

Deputy CM Mr. Ajit Pawar said that due to the semiconductor project, Industry in the state of Maharashtra will gain momentum. This is going to be an important step for Maharashtra. The digital revolution is about to gain momentum.The government has taken decisions to speed up the industrial sector. Efforts are underway to decentralize the industry. Many types of concessions and subsidies have been given to the industry. INR 12,000 crores have been invested in this project.

Rajendra Chodankar, Chief Executive Officer of RRP Electronics Limited, gave detailed information about this project to the attendees while making the introduction on the occasion of this event.On this occasion, Bharat Ratna Sachin Tendulkar, senior scientist Padma Bhushan Dr. Anil Kakodkar also expressed their best wishes for this project and assured of continued cooperation to make such projects successful.
