Sadhguru Casts Vote in First Phase of LS Polls in Coimbatore, Urges All to Exercise Their Right to Vote

NATIONAL, 19 APRIL, 2024 (GPN): Sadhguru cast his vote in Tamil Nadu’s Coimbatore in the first phase of 2024 Lok Sabha Elections on Friday. 

A couple of days back, Sadhguru tweeted against NOTA asking people not to waste their power by choosing the NOTA option in elections. 

“Every Citizen over 18 years of age must exercise this most fundamental right and responsibility to be able to decide who will take the Nation forward for the next five years. Do not let this power enshrined in the democratic process go waste or choose NOTA and give up your power to be an active participant in the making of Bharat and the future of over a  billion people. Earlier, Sadhguru had condemned rising sexist and derogatory comments towards women leaders in the Indian political discourse.

He urged the media and influencers that people who say disgusting things about women should be blocked out for good.
