ITANAGAR, FEBRUARY 22, 2024 (GPN) — On February 22, 2024, Dera Natung College welcomed experts Dr. Vishal Vinay Jha and Dr. Priyanka Semwal for a Cancer Awareness Workshop. The event, organized by the Chhabi Sahayog Foundation and Dev Desh Pratisthan & Mon indigenous culture & welfare society was generously sponsored by the Singachi Foundation.

Focused on cancer knowledge, early detection, and community health, the workshop combined presentations, interactive sessions, and real-life stories. Attendees, including students, faculty, and community member were encouraged to become ambassadors in the fight against cancer. Dr Priyanka took a special session with the females talking about cervical & breast cancer

Dera Natung College witnessed enthusiastic participation, fostering a commitment to health awareness. Attendees left not only educated but inspired to contribute to a culture of health on campus and in the wider community.

A pre & post test was done to check the pre session awareness & gain in knowledge during the session
