PUNE, 31st JANUARY, 2024 (GPN): Pudumjee Paper Products Limited (PPPL) has reported all time high results for the period ended 31st December, 2023.

During the nine months ended 31st December, 2023, the Company produced 47,681 MT of paper, a 9% increase over 43,918 MT produced during the previous period. The Turnover for the same period increased by about 1% to Rs.57965 lacs (Rs.57597 lacs). EBIDTA increased by 24% at 9551 lacs (Last year Rs.7703 lacs). Total Profit Before Tax showed a rise of 25% and stood at Rs.8161 lacs (Rs.6523 lacs).  The Company has been consistently improving its profitability in the same period over 4 years. 

The company manufactures various Biodegradable and Compostable specialty papers which are used as input for sustainable packaging solution for various food products, pharmaceutical and other products, hospital supplies, hygiene sectors, food, confectionary etc., which is constantly witnessing improving growth in demand.

The Company is currently operating at about 88% of its capacity and believes that the capacity utilization should gradually improve after one of the Paper Making machine which had been lying closed due to Covid, had been restarted in July 2023.Ends
