1.GAZA: ‘Two hundred to 300 displaced people killed in occupation (Israeli) strikes on the yard’ of the Ahli Arab hospital in central Gaza, the ministry said.Around 3,000 people have been killed in Israeli air strikes across the Gaza Strip since the war erupted on October 7.More than 1,400 people in Israel have been killed, the majority gunned down by Hamas militants who crossed from Gaza and attacked border communities.

2. Hyderabad: Union Minister for Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal on Tuesday accused the BRS government led by Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao of being “corrupt and discriminating on the basis of caste and religion, even while practising appeasement politics”, and taking Telangana backward. 24.MUMBAI: L&T Technology Services Ltd on Tuesday reported a 5.17 per cent rise in its second-quarter profit for the financial year 2023-24 – The company on Tuesday reported a 5.17 per cent rise in its second-quarter (Q2) profit for the financial year 2023-24 (FY24). The figure came at Rs 315.4 crore in quarter that ended on September 30, 2023, as against Rs 299.9 crore in the year-ago period.The company’s revenue from operations stood at Rs 2,386.5 crore, up 4.59 per cent from Rs 2,281.7 crore in the corresponding period last year.

MUMBAI: Bajaj Finance Q2 FY24 results: Consolidated net profit rises to Rs 3,551 cr, asset quality improves.The net interest income (NII) of the non-banking finance company (NBFC), on a consolidated basis, in Q1 FY24 increased by 26 per cent to Rs 8,398 crore from Rs 6,640 crore in the year-ago period.Its total revenue from operations grew 34 per cent YoY to Rs 13,378.26 crore.

27.HDFC Bank is drawing ire for its advertisement campaign, Vigil Aunty, which is aimed at raising awareness of financial fraud. In the advertisement, a woman shown as “vigil aunty” is seen wearing a bindi representing the stop sign. Reacting to the dress code, netizens have termed the advertisement “anti-Hindu”. Vigil Aunty campaign, which was launched in 2022, attempted to motivate citizens all around the nation to adopt secure banking practices. The bank roped in actor Anuradha Menon as Vigil Aunty for the cyber fraud awareness campaign.

Social media users were quick to react to the advertisement campaign floated by the HDFC Bank. Kreately Media wrote, “Is this how you represent Hindu culture with a stop mark on a woman’s forehead?
