He laid the foundation stones to several other road projects worth over 6 thousand 400 crores rupees.

5. MANIPUR farmers to receive a crop compensation package of Rs 38.06 crore
Over 5,127 hectares of severely impacted agricultural regions were identified in June 2023, and the package, which is entirely sponsored by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), would cover them.

1. Contracts worth ₹500 crore are likely to be handed over to TCL in coming two months for items that are part of the annual requirement of of the Army.

On October 15, 2021, the MoD announced that seven defence companies — Munitions India Limited (MIL); Armoured Vehicles Nigam Limited (AVANI); Advanced Weapons and Equipment India Limited (AWE India); Troop Comforts Limited (TCL) (Troop Comfort Items); Yantra India Limited (YIL); India Optel Limited (IOL) and Gliders India Limited (GIL) — have been carved out of the OFBs as part of larger defence reform.

2. The rate of the 19-kg cylinder has been increased by ₹209 from 1 October. The hike of ₹209 has come after two successive reduction of ₹250 (Approx) in August and September this year. In Delhi, the commercial gas cylinder price has been increased to ₹1,731.50/kg from ₹1,522.50/kg.

3. US-based energy storage company Our Next Energy (ONE) has said that it will roll out LFP (lithium iron phosphate) batteries for electric vehicles which are safer than NCM (nickel cobalt manganese) batteries. in 2024.

1. The Central Reserve Police Force, in collaboration with the Ministry of Women and Child Development will organize a bike expedition with Yashaswini, a group of CRPF women bikers to celebrate women power of the country.

2. Raksha Mantri Rajnath Singh launches several digital initiatives of Defence Accounts Department during its 276th Annual Day celebrations in New Delhi.

The officials looked at the replays and surprisingly showed the ‘Disqualified’ card to Jyothi, who was in the adjacent lane. The Indian national record holder protested and sought to check the replays herself.

Athletics Federation of India (AFI) authorities confirmed that after protest, However, the final result sheet disqualified Wu while Jyothi was awarded silver. Jyoti Yarraji won bronze originally but her medal was upgraded to silver upon review.
