1. Indian Army celebrates 197th Gunners Day. Chief of the Army Staff Gen Manoj Pande conveyed greetings and best wishes to all ranks, veterans, and families of the regiment of ARTILLERY on the occasion.

2. To promote indigenously designed and developed weapon systems, the Indian Army has moved a proposal to the Defence Ministry to buy 400 howitzers from Indian firms. 3. A two-day seminar on the Indian Navy’s Vision- 2047 was held at Visakhapatnam by the Maritime Warfare Centre under the aegis of Eastern Naval Command.

4. The seminar was inaugurated by ENC Vice Admiral, Flag Officer, Commanding-in-Chief, Rajesh Pendharkar.

The Ministry of Defence inked a deal with HAL for the procurement of six Dornier-228 aircraft, allocating a budget of Rs 667 crore in March.

The Director General of Police in Jammu and Kashmir, Dilbag Singh, has stated that the security forces in the region are alert and active in order to counter the actions of Pakistan-backed anti-national elements.
