“ASIATEX 2023” inaugurated by Shri Mangal Prabhat Lodha, Minister of Tourism, Govt. of Maharashtra on 31st August, 2023.
BJP Leader Shri Raj Purohit also present. The Guests of Honour attending this event included Ramesh Poddar, CMD of Siyaram Silk Mills Ltd., Ajay Agarwal, ED of Donear Industries Ltd., Brijendra Deshbandhu Kagzi, MD of Shrijee Lifestyle Pvt. Ltd. and Raghunath M.B. – CEO of Mafatlal Industries Ltd.
Viraj Manubhai Shah, MD of Ruby Silk Mills Ltd. and Balkrishna Dokania, Partner of Balkrishna Fabrics graced the function as Special Invitees.
The 5th Edition of “ASIATEX 2023” Textile Trade Fair is a B2B fair and will remain open up to Saturday, 2nd September, 2023.
Shikharchand Jain, President of 125 years old Hindustan Chamber of Commerce (HCC) stated that the Fair has 125 stalls. There have been a wide range of stalls with representation from Mumbai, Bhiwandi, Surat, Ichalkaranji, Bhilwara, Ahmedabad and all major textile hubs. A footfall of more than 20,000 visitors expected during the 3 days Fair.
Shri Piyush Goel, Union Minister of Textile, Commerce & Industry will visit “Asiatex – 2023” around 4 PM on 1st September 2023, when a seminar on ‘Future of Textile & Clothing Industry” will be organised. The seminar will be addressed by Rahul Mehta, Chief Mentor of The Clothing Manufactures Association of India (CMAI) & Past President of International Apparel Federation.
Gulabchand Kataria, Governor of Assam will visit the Fair at around 4 PM on 2nd September, 2023. A seminar has been organised, to be addressed by Lalit Gandhi, Chairman of Maharashtra Chamber of Commerce, Industry & Agriculture (MACCIA) as the Main Speaker.
