Mumbai, May 15, 2023 (GPN): On behalf of Vikrant Achrekar Foundation. The Valedictory ceremony of the “Mango Festival” organized at BMC Krida Bhavan near Chhatrapati Shivaji Park, Dadar between 12th, 13th and 14th of May was met with enthusiastic response from Mumbaikars.

On this occasion, MP Nileshji Rane, BJP Mumbai President Ashishji Shelar and MLA Sada Saravankar visited and guided the program. On the last day, various competitions like Ukhane Queen, Mango Queen, Kitchen Queen were held.

The winners were honored with awards in the presence of dignitaries. Abhang Riposte Band entertained the attendees. Famous Chef Varun Inamdar along with many actors from TV serials were also present and graced the event.

The main objective of the festival was to provide mango traders in Maharashtra and other states with a rightful market and to provide consumers with good quality fruit at a fair price. This was an attempt to bridge the gap between farmers and consumers. Along with mangoes, customers could also taste the taste of mango products during this festival. Mangoes and stalls of mango products were the major attractions of the Mango Festival.

In the presence of various cultural programs and eminent dignitaries, the attendees relished different quality food items at the food stalls here. Apart from this, the magnificent scenery of Konkan and the selfie corner built around it became the center of attraction.

A big grand mango box was displayed where one can stand inside it for a photo click, besides the name set against the backdrop of the Konkan coast, the giant replica of the mango gave Mumbaikars a great photo opportunity for the little ones. On this occasion, the audience was entertained with excellent dance and various cultural programs.

Marathi rap artists have combined the traditional Marathi lyrics in a rap style. Mumbaikars got to taste mangoes and mango products at the Mango Festival presented by Vikrant Achrekar, winning attractive prizes through various competitions along with many cultural programs.Ends
