Isha Leadership Academy conducts the first in-person edition of Isha Brand Insight at Isha Yoga Center in Coimbatore.

COIMBATORE, 11 MARCH, 2023 (GPN): “In a market economy, building a great Brand means winning people’s hearts. The consumer has a plethora of choices. Only that Brand which delivers what it promises will win hearts & become a Great Brand,” said Sadhguru, in a video message to entrepreneurs and business leaders who came together for the Isha Brand Insight 2023.

 

Leading brand strategists led the three-day event held at the picturesque Isha Yoga Center, Coimbatore guiding participants to unlock the power of branding to help scale–up their businesses. The sessions consisted of speaker sessions, case studies, probing discussions, and immersive working sessions to help participants realize the Power of Purpose, Branding, and Creative- the building blocks of Branding.

Addressing the participants on the power of purpose, S.Subramanyeswar, Group CEO, Mullenlowe Lintas Group and Chief Strategy Officer, APAC said, “You can base a brand on a trend, but trends come and go. When you look for a purpose, look for timeless truths because they are based on fundamental human emotion. Timely acts, but timeless truth.”

 

Building upon the session, Alpana Parida, Founder, and CEO, Tiivra Ventures, drew insights on driving purpose into action. “A hallmark of some of the most successful companies is that they actually live their purpose. It’s only when they live their purpose that their employees don’t need to be told what to do. They automatically know,” she added.

Yuri Jain, Former Global Vice President of Unilever and Project Coordinator, Isha Outreach, shed light on the purpose behind the Save Soil movement which reached 3.91 billion people  reinforcing the power of purpose.

Atika Malik, Strategic Advisory Partner; Former COO and CSO, Cheil India, South West Asia and Narayan Devanathan, Chief Strategy and Communications Officer, National Foundation for India led the session on “Decoding Positioning.” Sourabh Mishra, Co-Founder and Managing Partner, Branding, Azendor Consulting unraveled gripping case studies to share his experience in helping brands translate their purpose and positioning into action.

The much-awaited session on Creative Communication was led by Sonal Dabral, Ex-Chief Creative Officer South East and South Asia, and Vice Chairman India, Ogilvy. Sonal who in his inimitable style began singing a popular Bollywood track pointed out, “Every time a work is presented to you, it becomes very important to have a solid brief with you and questions that you should ask yourself so that it becomes a process rather than just ‘I like it’ or ‘I don’t like it.”

 

Anisha Motwani, Brand, and Innovation Expert, STORM the NORM Ventures; Independent Board Director hosted the event. “Branding is something that you do before you take your offering to the market. You can take your brand to the market in a million ways. Branding is strategic, marketing can be very tactical,” she added.
