MTDC takes efforts to spread information around the world of tourist places in the state through the G-20 Council:- Minister Mangal Prabhat Lodha

MUMBAI, 14 DECEMBER, 2022 (GPN): A small exhibition (stall) has been set up at Grand Hyatt, Santacruz, so that the representatives of various countries who have come from all over the world for the G-20 conference can get information about the tourist places ,
historical heritage places, agro tourism , wildlife tourism in the state. Tourism Minister Mangal Prabhat Lodha said that information about tourist places
will help to reach the global level through this.

Minister Mr. Lodha said that the tourism department is continuously implementing innovative activities to increase awareness of the state’s
beaches, various tourist destinations, as well as agricultural tourism,responsible tourism, rich culture of the state, historical heritage sites and wildlife
tourism. As a part of it, responsible tourism concept is being implemented and its English information booklet is
being given to the delegates in
the conference. Information about Ajantha, Verul, Elephanta Caves, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus, group of Art Deco buildings in Mumbai and four natural sites and six world
heritage sites as part of the Western Ghats will also be given through this stall.

Tourism Secretary Saurabh Vijay said , Tourism Department has taken many important decisions for the safety of
passengers. Post covid Maharashtra has issued regulations for all sectors of
tourism. He also said on this occasion that information can be given to international tourists.

that it is now safe to travel and stay in Maharashtra through this exhibition. Shraddha Joshi, Managing Director of
Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation said, information about responsible tourism is being given to the tourists. Through G-20, there is
a good platform to provide information about cultural places, historical heritage places, agri-tourism in the state at the global level.

While giving information at the stall at Grand Hyatt, MTDC General Manager
Chandrasekhar Jaiswal said, “The exhibition of Maharashtrian tradition and culture The brochures are prepared by the Department of Tourism.

Brochures and informative videos will be shown on the features of the districts of Mumbai , Pune , Nashik and
Aurangabad, newly created by the state. Till 16 December, tourism will be promoted and disseminated throu this stall.
