NATIONAL, DECEMBER 14, 2022 (GPN): India’s most preferred beauty and lifestyle destination, Nykaa, and the country’s leading women’s brand Femina came together once again to celebrate the Nykaa Femina Beauty Awards 2022. The seventh edition of these highly-regarded, consumer-driven beauty awards was hosted on  December 13, 2022, at The  St. Regis Mumbai.

The evening was resplendent with popular Bollywood personalities such as Katrina Kaif, Vicky Kaushal, Rashmika Mandanna, Sara Ali Khan, Ayushmann Khurrana, Kartik Aaryan, Kriti Sanon, Kiara Advani, Vijay Varma and Janhvi Kapoor, among others, in attendance. Eminent personalities from the world of fashion, beauty and entertainment graced the occasion and walked the red carpet including Malaika Arora, Akanksha Sharma, Sushant Divgikr aka Rani KoHEnur, Nikki Tamboli, Shamita Shetty, Yogita Bihani, Payal Ghosh, Pashmina Roshan, Amol Parashar, Rasika Dugal, Jaishree Sharad, Sandhya Shekar, Juhi Godambe Jain and Rahul Jhangiani and many more.

Returning after two years, the seventh edition of this much-awaited awards show was more glamorous and thrilling than ever before. Following an engaging voting phase where 31 lakh+ votes were received across categories, an esteemed jury panel chose the best among them as worthy of winning the coveted awards. Among the many personalities from the world of beauty, Yianni Tsapatori received the prestigious Hairstylist Of The Year award while Puneet B Saini was honored as the Makeup Artist Of The Year.

True to its commitment to dazzling fans, the Nykaa Femina Beauty Awards 2022 was an evening that celebrated Bollywood icons. The crowd went wild when Vicky Kaushal won the Icon Of The Year award; he believes the title represents the legacy he’d like to leave behind. New-age actor Kartik Aaryan was bestowed with the Superstar Of The Year award, while the gorgeous Janhvi Kapoor, who continues to steal both screens and hearts, won the Screen Stealer Of The Year award. As a distinguished star in the making, Vijay Varma received the Rising Star award and he made the crowd swoon with his poetry. Kriti Sanon, who won the Style Icon Of The Year award, dedicated the title to her hair and makeup team. The Golden Beauty Of The Year award went to the beautiful Kiara Advani, while Sara Ali Khan, won the Original Gen-Setter Award

Making a mark in South Indian cinema and now in Bollywood, Rashmika Mandanna was the obvious choice for the Breakthrough Face Of The Year award. Ayushmann Khurrana, who won the Dapper Disruptor Of The Year award for his unique performances and personal style, said that the accolade would inspire him to continue doing what he does. And finally, Katrina Kaif, the founder of Kay Beauty, was more than deserving of the Beauty Entrepreneur Of The Year award.

Popular comedian Rohan Joshi and the stunning singer-actress Monica Dogra hosted the event. The duo sought beauty and skincare tips from the winners, all the while engaging all those in attendance with their quirky humour.
