MUMBAI, 3 NOVEMBER, 2022 (GPN): As a part of Vigilance Awareness Week from 31.10.2022 to 06.11.2022, Central Bank of India had organized an inaugural function for its employees at its Corporate Office at Chandermukhi, Nariman Point, Mumbai on 31.10.2022.

The observance of the Vigilance Awareness Week was commenced with all the centralites taking the integrity pledge which was administered by Shri M.V. Rao, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer and by Shri Sunil Arora, Chief Vigilance Officer of the Bank.

Shri Sunil Arora, Chief Vigilance Officer welcomed the Officials present during the inaugural function  and shared with the audience the various initiatives including several outreach activities across the country taken up by the Bank during the VAW-2022 which has commenced from 16^th August, 2022 and will culminate on 15^th November 2022,  to spread the awareness of this year’s theme of “Corruption free India for a developed Nation” under the auspices of Central Vigilance Commission.

Shri M.V. Rao, MD & CEO, appreciated the efforts taken by the employees at field level and was also delighted with the active participation of children of staff members in the Video Making competition organised Pan India level thereby creating awareness against corruption and ill effects of corruption among masses.   He also emphasized that one should be honest in ones conduct which will inspire others to practice probity in public life.Ends
