Kareena raised a wish of owning The Mercedes-AMG EQS 53 4MATIC+, which is the first of the three new luxury EVs lined-up for Mercedes Benz Indian market debut in 2022.

MUMBAI, 25 AUGUST, 2022 (GPN): The new Mercedes-AMG EQS is the latest offering from Mercedes-Benz and is the new flagship all-electric offering from the German car maker. The Indian car market has received the car in the range-topping EQS 53 4MATIC+ version, which is priced at Rs 2.45 crore. The car gets a 107.8 kWh lithium-ion battery, which claims a maximum range of 586 km on a single charge. The India-spec models come equipped with the Dynamic Plus package, in which the car claims a power output of 765 PS and a torque output of 1020 Nm with its dual motor setup.

Kareena Kapoor Khan graced the launch event of the all-new Mercedes-AMG EQS on 24th August, Wednesday night with her presence and walked the ramp in the Mercedes – Benz India AMG EQS fashion Show as the Showstopper. Mercedes Benz India got inspired by Designer Kriti Tula who ensured her designs were environmentally friendly and artistic to match the top-end all-electric luxury electric saloon built on a dedicated modular architecture. She showcased only upcycled and recycled garments.

During the event, Kareena also raised a wish of owning The Mercedes-AMG EQS 53 4MATIC+, which is the first of the three new luxury EVs lined-up for Mercedes Benz Indian market debut in 2022.

The Bollywood actress while speaking to GPN, said, she has used a Mercedes Benz for most of her life span, especially after her stint as an actress. She added that the Mercedes-EQS is an impressive car and she aspires to own it someday. Kareena concluded by saying that it will be cool to see her driving one and having it in her Collection of Cars.

“The new EQS is finally here! And it’s such a beauty that I felt the sparks fly at first sight,” Kareena Tweeted.

Kareena Kapoor Khan always had an elusive car collection. In the recent past, she has owned previous-generation versions of the S-Class and E-Class sedans from Mercedes-Benz. Also, she was recently seen taking a test drive of the latest-gen Mercedes-Benz S-Class, along with her husband and renowned actor Saif Ali Khan, which triggered the rumours of her adding the new S-Class to her car collection.

Kareena also owns a Land Rover Range Rover Sport, Audi Q7, Lexus LX 470 and a BMW 7-Series among others. Even her spouse Saif Ali Khan is known to be an avid car lover and has owned cars like Mercedes-Benz S-Class, Audi R8 Spider, Land Rover Range Rover, Ford Mustang GT500, Audi A3 Cabriolet, BMW 7-Series and Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT.
