Spiritual Revolution: Monthly Samarpan Meditation USA ‘SMA eNewsletter June 2022’

At the lotus feet of Baba Swami…Jai Aatmeshwar!

Sometimes we get disheartened when our prayers with dedicated efforts in Gurukarya or life fail to give us the results we desired. Since the beginning of 2022, we were praying for Gurudev to visit us in the USA on the International Yoga Day, June 21st and now Swamiji is giving Mega Children Workshop from India during this time. (Please don’t miss watching the SMUSA-Children’s video in the Bhav Corner below.) Some of you are disappointed by this, so it’s time for me to help you stay balanced and learn a spiritual lesson from this Anubhuti (experience). “Everything happens for a reason and the earlier we accept the everchanging reality, the lesser we will suffer in life.”

Whenever I fail or my proposal gets rejected for something, first I verify at the Sthool (physical) and practical level – ‘Did I put 100% efforts from my side? or What mistake I made?’ If I find it, I correct myself. Next I close my eyes and surrender the situation to Gurudev on a Sukshma (subtle) level to guide me for understanding any hidden esoteric or Karmic reason behind it. Nine out of ten times, I realized the subtle reason to be the cause that is demanding my Soul to ‘LET GO’ for a better, bigger, and brighter future! Just like Krishna said in Bhagavat Geeta “Perform a Karma (action) and leave the Karmafala (results) to Me.“ In the present time,  Swamiji (our YugPurush or Avatar) is always reminding us “In Samarpan, meditate without any expectation (desire), and in life, let go (surrender) without any attachment; and I will give you beautiful future beyond your imagination!”

As an Adhikrut (appointed) Sadhak (devotee) of Swamiji, all I can do is try to connect Gurushakti (Guruenergy) with all of you, but if Gurushakti wants to test our Collective Samarpan (reverence to surrender to Guru), we will have to pass through it as one-unified family. We have learned together that whenever we are performing any Gurukarya, Guru is the one who is doing everything (Karta-Dharta-Harta)! I hope you are inspired by witnessing my Shraddha (faith) and Saburi (patience): ”If Hitendra’s Guruprem (love for Swamiji) has not allowed him to give up his hopes and efforts for the last 20 years to bring Swamiji and Guruma to the USA, why should I give up?” With that strong belief in Gurushakti, we have decided to continue our efforts to arrange Gurudev’s programs in the USA 🇺🇸 with the same enthusiasm in 2023 and will let Himalayan Gurushakti decide, when and how Swamiji will step on the holy-land of America. Because we have learned together ‘Uske Darbarmein Der Hai, Andher Nahin! (In His court, there is delay but no darkness exists there!)’

I can see Gurudev’s blessings in the USA and truly admire Soulful collectivity during the Yagna Ceremonies that served as the reunion of Californian Sadhaks from all 4-centers in the Bay Area. Please check out the detailed report below.

We are looking forward to enjoying one more online Gurupurnima on July 12-13-14, 2022 with our Gurudev, Shree Shivkrupanand Swami from India. Stay excited, connected, energized and united to enjoy life with our Soulful Collectivity!

With Lots of love and light,

West Coast Samarpan Reunion

By the grace of Gurudev, the Memorial Day-2022 Weekend became a celebration time of the West Coast Samarpan USA Reunion.

On Saturday, May 28th, we had Chatush-Kundi Yagna (Fire ceremony with 4-Havan Kunds) followed by Mahaprasad at the Fremont Center, CA, hosted by Dipaji and Tarakshji Desai. “Special Thanks” to Jaymin Patel, a student from Ahmedabad, who conducted the Yagna Ceremonies as trained by Ramkaka in Dandi Ashram. On Sunday, May 29th, the day started with the group meditation in San Jose, CA. It was followed by lunch, hosted by Sonalji and Manishji Sabu. Later Sadhaks were given a tour of local sights like the beach and Sunset Meditation at Mount Umunhum.

This was a great moment of Soulful Collectivity (Aatmiyta) for Samarpan USA Family as some Sadhaks from Dallas Center, Texas also joined them.

“Thank you, Swamiji for your blessings to all Samarpan Americas Sadhaks.”

This is Samarpan with Dr. Hetal Acharya and Mr. Mohit Kacha

On May 14th, 2022 ‘This Is Samarpan’ Team of Americas was honored by an energetic couple Dr. Hetal Acharya and Mr. Mohit Kacha. Dr. Acharya is the first person to represent the ancient science of Ayurveda at the United Nations and has been felicitated by the Hon. President of India. Mr. Kacha is a spiritual speaker, life coach, and meditation expert from Gujarat, India. He has authored and narrated the ‘Guru Katha’ of Swamiji that we have enjoyed during Chaitanya Mahotsav 2020. The session was full of immense energy, some special anubhutis which enhanced faith in Guru for the audience like Hetalji’s contribution towards Ayurveda in the society and her experience where she got an opportunity to conduct the mediation in His Master’s voice in the United Nations auditorium in the USA. A snippet of Mohitji’s ‘Guru Katha’ took the session to yet another level. It was watched live by a 100+ audience on Zoom and the Soul Satsang YouTube channel. Behind the stage, Gurukarya was executed flawlessly by the TIS Samarpan team with pure dedication who expressed gratitude to guests for the amazing experiences during the session.

Introduction Workshop: Living in Harmony with Samarpan Meditation
An In-person introduction workshopOn Saturday, May 7th, 2022, Samarpan Americas hosted a FREE introduction workshop called ‘Living in Harmony with Samarpan Meditation’. For the first time, all Samarpan meditation centers across Americas hosted an in-person meetup-cum-introduction workshop simultaneously. However, the audience was not restricted to only in-person attendance as the workshop was relayed on Zoom and was open to anyone who would like to join virtually.
For the prachar (promotion) of this workshop, conventional ways were also adopted such as handing out flyers by the center head with help of local volunteers at local grocery stores, temples, restaurants, retail centers, etc. Shree Shivkrupanand Swami Foundation of America also promoted the workshop via paid social media ads. Additionally, center heads and Sadhaks shared invites personally in their local networks. The guidelines for organizing the in-person meet-up were extended before the workshop to all center-heads by Area Heads and the connectivity team to ensure a smooth and consistent flow of the event. All these efforts resulted in 120+ in-person and 80+ virtual participants, totaling the combined attendance of around 200+ participants.
During the workshop, each center joined the online Zoom meeting to take advantage of a larger collectivity. The workshop was pre-recorded and was conducted by the collective effort of the Connectivity Team Members namely Mrs. Shilpa Abhyankar, Mr. Rahul Abhyankar, Mr. Vishal Desai, Mrs. Pallavi Rajput, and Mr. Utsav Domadia. The workshop highlighted how meditation is instrumental not only in spiritual but also overall progress in life and how Samarpan Meditation can play a key role in bringing harmony and inner peace that people seek. During the workshop, a 25-minute recorded discourse and meditation with P.P. Swamiji were introduced to participants. The workshop team also covered the discussion on several topics related to meditation such as soul, chakra, aura, kundalini, etc. The workshop was concluded with a question-answer session where the team and center heads (locally) addressed several spiritual questions from attendees.
The participants gave great feedback and received the workshop very well. Existing practitioners enjoyed in-person bonding with other Sadhaks at a grand scale locally for the first-time since pandemic. After the workshop, about sixty people registered for the Immersion Program. This program will act as an online center for new participants and support them for 50 days. The idea is to help them meditate regularly for 45+ days, answer their spiritual questions and expose them gradually to discourses and other Samarpan resources with a selfless hope that they will join the larger Samarpan collectivity.
A recording of the workshop will also soon be made available on the Samarpan Meditation USA website so that such workshops can be organized by Samarpan meditation centers easily and whenever required.

Samarpan Meditation Americas – Experiences – Anubhuti

SAMARPAN MEDITATION is an 800-year-old meditation practiced by the Himalayan Sages, to experience the ‘Self Knowledge’ (Atma Gyan). H.H. Shree Shivkrupanand Swami, our Master, brought these SANSKARAS (Spiritual Values) from the caverns of the Himalayas to the society for common people like us. `Samarpan` means ‘Surrender’ and one can experience the wealth of self-consciousness only upon letting go the thoughts of the past, problems, other negativities to the Universal Consciousness.
Here Sadhika Hinal Dhaduk, from New Jersey, USA, shares her experience of staying with her consciousness for one day during the anushthan period and her ordeal with pregnancy, and how Samarpan meditation helped her.

dhara.javia@samarpanmeditationusa.org
Samarpan meditation practitioner – since 2019

She shares, “Jai Baba Swami! I am forever grateful to my mother for introducing me to the precious gift of Samarpan Meditation. At first, I refused to acknowledge that this practice existed and only did it because my mother and father did it. As time passed, I began to meditate more consistently and learned to love it! I gained a spiritual realization that every single person’s mission in life is to be able to be one with their soul and view the world from that perspective. I achieved a state of clarity and balance that helped me become more aware of who I am and more accepting of myself. I witnessed myself releasing the true promise I hold and kicking bad habits such as procrastination to the curb. Nowadays, people, especially my peers, are focused on the future, researching to make sure they are safe and secure for a lifetime by going to a good college to land a great job. I am certain that as long as Samarpan Meditation is in my life, my future is safe, secure, and destined for greatness. Everything else will fall into place, and my soul will guide me in the right direction. By appreciating everything life throws at me, I have been learning at a rapid rate about what truly is important in my life; being happy. Sometimes you have to make decisions that hurt your heart but heal your soul. That is why a light within me has sparked to help children worldwide follow the path of meditation and help them receive all the benefits it has to offer. Witnessing them living in the present and having free expressions of emotions has inspired me to be more open-minded and see the world through rose-tinted glasses. The journey to inner peace starts with yourself, so why don’t you start from today and discover all that is waiting for you!”
