BANGALORE 28 JUNE, 2022 (GPN) – SBL Knowledge Services has bagged the contract to implement the paperless assembly National e-Vidhan Application (NeVA) in the Mizoram State Legislative Assembly. National e-Vidhan Application. (NeVA) is a One Nation-One Application digitalization initiative under the aegis of Indian government’s mission mode project (MMP) under Digital India initiative is aimed at promoting legislative assembly automation for bringing democracy closer to people in India. NeVA or paperless assembly, encompasses the use of information and communications technology to facilitate and digitalize proceedings in the House including the entire Assembly’s session, from the governor’s address to the budget presentation to the entire legislative law-making process. In consonance with the vision to go digital, the Mizoram Legislative Assembly has decided to adapt and implement NeVA application for its core operations and SBL Knowledge Services will support the implementation of NeVA application for complete digitalization of the state assembly operations at a quick turn-around time.
