Mr. Ramesh has over 30 years of leadership experience across industry verticals and diverse company
cultures. He brings a strong blend of functional and general management skills to NBHC.
Mr. Ramesh joins us from VVF India Limited, an Indian company with global presence in Oleochemicals
& FMCG products. As Managing Director at VVF, he successfully led the operation turnaround of the
business and the culture transformation of this family-owned company into professionally managed
organization. Prior to this, Mr. Ramesh worked with Global MNCs of repute, Unilever and Johnson &
Johnson (J&J), in leadership roles in a wide variety of functions ranging from finance, procurement,
supply chain, business analytics and Mergers & Acquisitions. Amongst his notable achievements at J&J
were the establishment of the Business Knowledge Centre to serve as a strategic analytics/insights
partner to the Asia Pacific Sales and Marketing team and a Regional Distribution Centre at Singapore to
efficiently service product need of 14 countries in Asia Pacific. Mr. Ramesh was also first Asian to be
chosen to lead a Global Procurement team at Unilever in 2005.
Mr. Ramesh holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from University of Madras, Post Graduate Diploma
in Management (M.B.A) from IIM – Ahmedabad and is an Associate Member of the Institute of Cost &
Works Accountants of India.

अर्थमंत्री श्रीमती निर्मला सीतारमण यांनी आज सादर केलेला केंद्रीय अर्थसंकल्प भांडवलाच्या पायाभूत सुविधांच्या उभारणीत गुंतवणूकीच्या प्रतिज्ञेसह अत्यंत प्रगतीशील व धाडसी आहे. अर्थसंकल्पातील पुढाकारांमुळे केवळ भारतीय उद्योगांसाठी दीर्घ मुदतीची स्पर्धात्मकता वाढण्यास मदत होणार नाही तर कोविडद्वारे प्रभावित रोजगार आणि वापरास अल्प मुदतीस चालना देखील मिळेल. कापणीनंतरच्या कृषी पायाभूत सुविधांच्या उभारणीत भारत सरकारचे धोरणात्मक प्राधान्य पाहण्यास आम्हाला प्रोत्साहन देण्यात आले आहे. आम्हाला आशा आहे की सरकारने प्रस्तावित कृषी पायाभूत सुविधा व विकास उपकर (एआयडीसी) अंतर्गत जमा केलेला निधी केवळ चांगल्या प्रतीची पायाभूत सुविधा निर्माण करण्यासाठीच नव्हे तर कृषी वस्तूंसाठी वैज्ञानिक गोदाम व गुणवत्ता व्यवस्थापन पद्धतींना प्रोत्साहन देण्यासाठी खर्च केला जाईल. भारतातील शेतकर्‍यांना चांगल्या प्रकारे उत्पादन बाजारपेठ उपलब्ध व्हावी यासाठी मजबूत वेअरहाऊस सर्व्हिस प्रदात्यांद्वारे ई-नामच्या धर्तीवर खासगी इलेक्ट्रॉनिक प्लॅटफॉर्म तयार करण्यासाठी सरकारने प्रोत्साहित केले पाहिजे.
