MUMBAI, 24 AUGUST, 2020 (GPN): RH Clinic has launched a Chemotherapy daycare cancer centre at Seawoods, Navi Mumbai. The centre aims at facilitating early treatment options with better outcomes and lesser hospital stay. The centre will cater to patients not only in Navi Mumbai but also in the neighboring areas of Thane and Raigarh Districts.

Dr. Rajas Patel, Medical Oncologist, Founder & Managing Director of RH Clinic inaugurated the centre. Also, gracing the event with their presence, were Directors of Seawoods Hospital – Dr. Sanjay Dhar, Dr. Neena Dhar & Dr. Saurabh Kothari.

The amenities available at this centre are intended to enhance patient experience while they are undergoing therapy for cancer.  The initial plan is to run this as a daycare facility from 9 am to 6 pm and then extend the timings as per patient requirements. Having an in-house onco-pharmacist stationed at the nursing centre will make the task of administering drugs much faster, said Dr. Rajas Patel, Medical Oncologist.

The 3-bed RH Clinic – Chemotherapy Day Care Center is an advanced medical oncology, Targeted, Hormonal, and Immunotherapy centre which provides high-end daycare treatment and palliative care. Additionally, a 24X7 patient emergency support would be provided by Seawoods Hospital.

RH Clinic – Chemotherapy Day Care Center is currently operating in Seawoods and has plans to set up another daycare centre in Airoli, Navi Mumbai by 2021. ENDS
