TELL ME WHY❓❓❓:

*Why Tiger is selected as National Animal and why not Lion or other animals?*

It was selected as a national animal because of its presence in larger parts of the country. It is found in 16 states while the lion is found only in one state. the Bengal tigers of India are epitomes of great courage, power and sharp intelligence. They have hunted down elephants and crocodiles too, although this is rare, and they do it all alone.

You might be aware that tigers are not only the largest, but also the strongest of big cats (YES, tiger is stronger than a lion, because tiger not only has a higher muscle density of 72.6%, compared to lion’s 58.8%, but tigers also keep themselves very active by walking great distances, hunting difficult prey all alone, swimming miles and miles, and in India, occasionally climbing very tall trees, too. This keeps up their muscle strength. Lion mostly sleeps).

*HOW IT WORKS*:

*How Rainfall is measured* ⁉⛈️️

Rainfall is measured by the instrument called rain gauge. Rain water collected in this gauge is measured in millimetres or inches.

Rainfall is measured in litres per square meter which is equivalent to mm and can be conveniently converted to meter or cm.

A Rain Gauge is placed 30 cm above the ground in an open area where there are no trees or
buildings to block the rain, and where only rainfall can enter the rain
gauge. The rain collected in the rain gauge is usually measured every
morning with a measuring cylinder at a fixed time. The measurement
constitutes the daily rainfall and is recorded in millimetres(mm). By
adding up the amount of rain collected in a month, we get the monthly
rainfall. The total amount of rainfall collected over 12 months is the
annual rainfall.

The main conversion factor is 1 mm of rainfall = 1 Liter of water/m² (or 0.001 m³ of water/m²);

Here m² means Meter square

The intensities of rain rate are:

up to 5 mm/hr = Light rain rate

between 5–10 mm/hr = Moderate rain rate

10 to 50 mm/hr = Heavy rain rate

50 to 100 mm/hr = Very heavy rain rate

100 to 200 mm/hr = Extreme moderate rain rate

> 200 mm/hr = Extremely high / cloud burst

VEDIK GYAN:

*Vyasa* is the legendary author of the Mahabharata, Vedas and Puranas. He is also called Veda Vyāsa, Vyasam Bhagwan or Krishna Dvaipāyana. The festival of Guru Purnima is dedicated to him.

*Parents* : Satyavati, Parashara

Veda Vyasa was Born to Maharshi Parasara and Satyavati ( daughter of King of Fisher men)

*Spouse* : Pinjalaa

Veda Vyasa Krishna Dvaipayana. was the father of Pandu and Dhritarashtra is also the father of Vidura, Veda Vyasa is the title and the name is Krishna Dvaipaayana just as in Dr X (name) Dr is the title and X is the name. He was named Krishna because he was born black, and since he was born in an island, he was named Dvaipaayana. All the three (Dhritarashtra, Pandu and Vidura) were the illegitimate sons of Veda Vyasa. While Dhritarashtra was conceived by Ambika, Pandu was conceived by her younger sister Ambalika. Both Ambikaa and Ambaalikaa are daughters of Kaashya, the king of Kaashi (Varanasi or Benares).

Dhritarashtra was born blind because Ambika, having been frightened of Veda Vyasa’s appearance, shut her eyes completely during copulation with Veda Vyasa

Veda Vyasa had to repeat the performance with *Ambalika* . seeing the fearsome appearance of Vyasa, Ambaalikaa turned pale during the niyoga act . So the conceived child was born pale and he was named Pandu.

Since the previous two processes did not produce the desired result, that is one normal healthy heir to the throne, Veda Vyasa was summoned for the third time by Satyavati. Ambika agreed to go through the ordeal again. But, at the last moment, she could not muster sufficient courage to face Veda Vyasa. So, she sent her maidservant in her place. The maid had intercourse with Veda Vyasa in full attention and with full devotion. The result was the birth of a normal child with no disability. That child was named Vidura who grew up to be a replica of Dharma (righteousness) as predicted by Veda Vyasa.

Now the person behind all these arrangements was none other than Satyavati (royal mother, mother of the deceased Vichitraveerya and mother-in-law of Ambika and Ambalika) whose first son was Veda Vyasa who too was illegitimate. Now Satyavati had summoned Veda Vyasa to impregnate the issueless two widowed queens (of Vichitraveerya) Ambika and Ambalika in order to obtain a legal heir to the Hastinapura throne.

HEALTH CARE: HOME REMEDIES:
( *Note* : These home tips followed in villages/ancient traditions, it is up to you to use it or not)

A seizure (the medical term for a fit or convulsion) occurs when there is a sudden burst of electrical activity in them brain temporarily interfering with the normal messaging processes.

Imagine we have certain batteries in the brain. These batteries suddenly and unexpectedly get short-circuited and catch fire, because of which patients get some ‘experience’. It may be some visual experience or it may be some hand jerking or it may be falling down shaking. It depends on which area of the brain is abnormal during the electrically-charged moment. If it happens unexpectedly and several times, it is called epilepsy

1. First aid for seizures is aimed at keeping the person safe until the seizure stops on its own. Stay calm, loosen anything around the person’s neck, do not restrain them or put anything in their mouth, clear the area around them, and stay with them after the seizure stops.

Put something flat and soft under their head

Allow the person to remain seated in the chair during the seizure (unless they have a care plan which says to move them

when their convulsions stop. stay with them and talk to them calmly until they recover note the time the seizure starts and finishes. ENDS
