Wockhardt Hospital, Mira Road conducts free general health check-up for cops

MUMBAI, 4 MAY, 2020 (GPN):  Amidst  Covid-19 pandemic Wockhardt Hospital, Mira Road in association with Nayanagar police station, Mira Road conducted free general health check-up drive for cops

India is reeling under coronavirus. To curb the spread of coronavirus, PM Narendra Modi has put the entire country under the lockdown. Cops are working throughout the day, to safeguard the country.

To help cops take charge of their health and stay fit and fine, Wockhardt Hospital, Mira Road, in association with Nayanagar police station at Mira Road, conducted a free general health check-up drive for the cops. In this one-time activity, 15-20 police officers (over the age group of 50+) were screened. Physician check-up, RBS, BP, temperature monitoring, and ECG were done.

Dr. Pritam Moon, Internal Medicine Consultant Wockhardt Hospital Mira Road, says, “Due to lockdown police are on duty and taking continuous care for us and our safety. Our Hospital has supported an initiative as CSR responsibility came forward to safeguard their health. More than 15 police came for the screening of BP, ECG, and regular check-ups.

Police Inspector Kailas Barve says, “it was a great pleasure to have a support of Wockhardt Hospital, Mira Road to help us with screening check-up. In our daily busy schedule, it’s difficult to intervene check-ups. ENDS
