Mumbai Students celebrated New Year by visiting old age home in Bandra

MUMBAI, 1 JANUARY, 2020 (GPN) : – As everyone spending Christmas & New Year with their dear and near one but Beacon High School, khar students Grades VII & VIII visited, St. Anthony’s Home for the Aged (women’s) in Bandra with that spirit of spreading goodwill & cheer on the occasion of New Year. The residents from St. Anthony’s Home were very hospitable and friendly, and they welcomed students their beautiful smiles. To share the spirit of cheer in their lives, Students presented them with a skit and sang Christmas carols.Both the students and all the residents of the home were overwhelmed and delighted to spend some quality time with each other, said by Mrs. Kashmira Jamali, Principal of Beacon High School.First we sang Christmas carols for them, and then we danced beautifully for them. After all this, we again switched on the music and danced with aunties ( senior citizens women’s )  sitting there. They all were dancing so enthusiastically, as if their childhood had returned, said by students from Beacon High School. ENDS
