INDIA, 20th DECEMBER 2019 (GPN): Dr. Jitendra Singh, MoS PMO, today, flagged off GoAir’s Delhi to Varanasi inaugural flight from Terminal 2 of the Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi. Along with him Mr. R.P Singh too joined Dr. Singh who holds the portfolio as Union Minister of State for Development of North Eastern Region.

Congratulating GoAir, Dr. Jitendra Singh said, “It is a pleasure to inaugurate GoAir’s flight to Varanasi, the holiest city of India. GoAir is part of the 283-year-old Wadia Group and one of the most reputable airlines – by that virtue I say that it is a good initiative to connect flights to Varanasi from Delhi as this will not only boost spiritual travel and tourism but it will also facilitate the tourists traveling to explore Varanasi as a destination.  Varanasi is the face of India’s ancient culture and it is great to introduce not only Indians but tourists across the globe to Varanasi.”

GoAir will connect Delhi to Varanasi daily twice through direct flights. Flight G8-404 will depart from New Delhi at 10:30 hours and arrive in Varanasi at 11:40 hours. Flight G8 403 will depart from Varanasi at 08:00 hours and arrive in New Delhi at 09:25 hours. Flight G8-182 will depart from New Delhi at 20:30 hours and arrive in Varanasi at 22:00 hours. The same aircraft will do a return flight: G8-183 will depart from Varanasi at 22:30 hours and arrive in New Delhi at 00:10 hours.
