ITW Playworx in collaboration with Nritya Shakti studio to produce Break A Leg-Season 2

MUMBAI, INDIA, 19th DECEMBER 2019 (GPN)/ VIDEOS: After a successful maiden inning, India’s only dance-meets-comedy-meets-style web series titled ‘Break A Leg’ that marked popular dancepreneur and television personality, Shakti Mohan’s foray into web production, is gearing up for its’ grand Season 2 showcase. The show will chronicle Mohan’s effort in bringing together non-dancer personalities give a go at professional dance styles aside of engaging in candid anecdotes, dancing drills and face-off battles.

Produced by Nritya Shakti and ITW Playworx, the video is directed by Dance Plus judge Punit J Pathak and features the stunning Mohan sisters. The title track was launched today in presence of Shakti Mohan, Neeti Mohan, Punit J Pathak and Sidharth Ghosh (CEO, ITW Playworx) at JLWA, Bandra.

It’s going to be unique in every way. I feel everyday is a blessing because as I never expected to be where I am. I am surprised at every opportunity to realize how I am chosen for this.”

Adding on Vishal Dadlani states, “Shakti is a dear friend and someone I admire for her dedication to dance and dance education. Her show, Break A Leg, while also hilarious, showed us in Season 1, that anyone can really dance. Season 2 will be even bigger and better! The title song by Harsh Upadhyay has a great groove and I really enjoyed singing it, as well as shooting the video! Working with Neeti Mohan is always a joy, so overall, I guess all I was doing was having a good time!”

Elaborating further Neeti Mohan states, “Break A Leg Season 2 is going to be amazing. I’m so happy to be part of this project. Viewers loved the unique concept and found it very entertaining in Season 1 and I’m sure it’s going to be even more epic this time around. I am certain that all dancers worldwide are going to love it.”

Spanning across 8 episodes, featuring 8 celebrities, with a duration of 20 minutes each, the series will air starting mid-January 2020 on Nritya Shakti YouTube channel and aims to engage with over 20 million viewers. Season 1 featured personalities like Aparshakti Khurana, Ritivik Dhanjani, Shrishti Dixit, Karan Wahi, Mallika Dua, Abish Mathew, Kashyap Kapoor and Namit Das.

Having freshly collaborated with DJ Bravo for The Chamiya Song, the “Dance Plus” and “Dance India Dance” superstar is currently busy with her dance studio Nritya Shakti which will host a series of workshops with experienced dance teachers from across the globe.
