Mumbai’s Art Plaza Gallery to display ‘Gandhi Teerth’ in drawings

MUMBAI, 23 NOVEMBER, 2019 (GPN)- “Gandhi Teerth’’ which attempts to create closeness with Gandhian thoughts through excellent drawings in water colours painting ideas, lines and colours. This exhibition will open from November 25 and it will be on display till December 1 at Art Plaza Gallery in Mumbai.

Anil Jain, Managing Director and Vice-Chairman, Jain Irrigation Systems Ltd. (JISL) will inaugurate it at 11 am on November 25. Anand Gupte, Senior Copywriter; Shubhanand Jog, Dean, Sir J. J. School of Art; John Douglas, Dean, Sir J. J. School of Art will also be attending the ceremony.

This exhibition of paintings have been prepared by Anand Patil, Jalgaon. Total 18 paintings will be made available at the Art Plaza Gallery. ‘Gandhi Teerth’ is a centre for propagating and publishing Gandhian thoughts in the enchanting area of Jain Hills. It undertakes and implements several projects for creating a culture of ecology, ahimsa (non-violence), peace and love along with creation of a global society. Artist Anand Patil has been inspired by Gandhian thoughts to paint those landscape pictures. He has visited that area personally to draw and paint those pictures by experiencing ‘Gandhi Teerth’ and it’s several parts. He has been active in the art field since last 21 years and has handled several subjects with sensitivity. He has also undertaken propagating the conservation of water through his posters and paintings. He has to his credit 4 solo exhibitions and five groups. Over 75 paintings have been available at his collection. Mr Anand Patil has made an appeal to art lovers and all people to visit this exhibition in large numbers. ENDS
