Panama Meets India 2019 at World Trade Centre (WTC) Today

Mr. President has one of important agenda as ties with India and with his new formed ministry is making it a priority. Accordingly, Mr. Ramon Martinez Minister of Commerce and Industries, Republic of Panama has sent a team from its department to formalize the visit.

Panama Meets India, a project of Ministry Of Commerce and Industry, Republic of Panama, has converted into historical first Panamanian delegation visit to India.

In furtherance and strengthening and promotion of multilateral trade ties, Co-operation & investment and relation between India and Panama, the delegation of Republic of Panama, consisting of Mr. Richard KilbornNational Investment Director, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Republic of Panama and Punjabi Panamanian Mr. Hardeep Bhullar, Director, Marketing Investment and Promotion, Ministry of Commerce and Industries, Panama is visiting in parts of India. The visit of this delegation is convened and coordinated by Mr. Prabhakar Sharan, Vice President (Indo Latin America Chamber of Commerce, Panama, Central America) an eminent Educationalist, Entrepreneur, Actor and Producer, who since last 15 years had been significant in developing relation between India & Latin American countries.

The delegation is presently at Mumbai, and will be meeting the Indian business delegates at a World Trade Center on October 29 at 3:30 PM, at meet supported by Panama’s Honorable Ambassador in India, Mr. Ricardo Berna and organized under the aegis of ILACC, New Delhi its President, Mr. Raj Kumar Sharma and promoted by Kamal M. Morarka, ChairmanMVIRDC and Vijay G. Kalantri, President -AIAI.

Mr. Richard Kilborn & Mr. Hardeep Bhullar, who have been visiting different parts of India, appreciating the economic energy and dynamism will be elaborating on issue pertaing to promotion of bilateral relations with due emphasis on Logistics, Financial and Banking relation, IT, Education, Tourism, Media and Entertainment, Agriculture, Pharmaceuticals and Construction, and investment, business opportunities, and policy perspective of Panama. How Indian companies can also work towards leveraging the opportunities arising from the growth in high demand for IT products and services within the region as Panama is commercial hub of the Central America and Panama & United States Trade Promotion Agreement further gives direct access to American market to any investor in Panama.
