Shree Krishnagiri’s Bhairava Swamiji Embarks on Sacred Tirtha Yatra to Ujjain Mahakal and Omkareshwar

KRISHNAGIRI, TAMIL NADU 8 JUNE 2025 (GPN):– In a spiritually significant event, Bhairava Swamiji of the renowned Kandikuppam Bhairava Temple in Krishnagiri district embarked on a holy pilgrimage to Ujjain Mahakal and Omkareshwar. The revered Swamiji, known for his deep spiritual wisdom and guidance, offered prayers at both jyotirlingas during his sacred yatra.

In a rare and historic moment at Omkareshwar, Swamiji performed the ancient ritual of blowing the holy conch (shankh) in the temple pond — a ritual that had not been performed for the past 50 years. He became the second Swamiji in half a century to bless the sacred waters in this traditional manner, invoking divine energy and blessings for all devotees.

Devotees and followers from Krishnagiri and surrounding regions have expressed joy and reverence at this act, considering it a profound spiritual blessing. Swamiji’s divine presence and participation in this tirtha yatra have brought renewed faith and devotion among his disciples.
