NAVI MUMBAI, 18 APRIL, 2025 (GPN): A team headed by Dr. Pradeep Mahajan, Regenerative Medicine Researcher & Founder of StemRx Hospital & Research Centre, has successfully treated a 15-year-old girl from Kenya, suffering from a rare autoimmune disorder, polymyositis, and extreme weakness. Shannon, who had been unable to walk, talk, or even perform basic daily activities, is now regaining full control of her life after undergoing innovative cell-based therapy in India.

Shannon, a lively and active 15-year-old who once enjoyed school and everyday life, was suddenly struck by what seemed like a simple cold allergy, but it quickly turned into a serious condition that left her bedridden and helpless.
