 SME Conclave 2025 Unveiled Growth Strategies & AI’s Role in Small Business Success as well as demanding further recognition & support for MSMEs.

MUMBAI, 25 FEBRUARY, 2025 (GPN)– The SME Conclave 2025, hosted by RMB Numero Uno, brought together business leaders, policymakers, financial experts, and technology pioneers to discuss growth strategies, financing options, and the impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on MSMEs. Held at Novotel, Mumbai, the event reinforced the need to recognize and support MSMEs—the backbone of India’s economy—which, despite contributing nearly 30% to India’s GDP, often go unnoticed compared to large corporates and startups, thus needing further recognition and support.

The event was inaugurated by Chief Guest Mr. Sunil Vinayak Zode, General Manager, Credit Review Department – SME Loans, SBI, who outlined SBI’s commitment to financing and supporting MSMEs. Rotary District Governor Chetan Desai highlighted the role of business networks in fostering SME growth.

Several distinguished speakers shared their expertise, which included Mr. Pavan Jain, CFO, Grasim Industries, discussing growth strategies for SMEs and how they can become eligible for corporate partnerships, Mr. Rajnicant Patel, Former MD, BSE, provided valuable insights on charting an IPO pathway for SME growth, CA G. B. Modi, Sr. Managing Partner, Modi & Agarwal, detailed government incentives and subsidy schemes available to MSMEs as well as Rajyogini Brahma Kumari Yogini Didi, Vice Chairperson, Brahma Kumari Business & Industry Wing.

RMB Numero Uno’s leadership team, including Hemang Jangla (Convener), Rajesh Shah (President), Jennifer Issac, Sonal Doshi, Shirish Garg, Som Saini, Naresh Garg, Arun Wadhwa and all esteemed members, played a pivotal role in successfully implementing 2nd Annual SME Conclave 2025. Hemang Jangla is the Founder of Numero Uno and SME Conclave is his brainchild including the whole concept & strategies. He is also the Convener of the Conclave.

A Panel Discussion on ‘SMEs – The Backbone of the Indian Economy’, was moderated by Bhalchandra Barve, Jt. MD, Bluecross Laboratories. The panel featured leading experts Avinashkar Gorakshakar, CA Ketan Damji Saiya, J. Kantharao, Sr. Branch Manager, NSIC, and Sunil Kumar Agarwal, DGM, SBI.
The discussion reinforced the conclave’s core message: while large corporates and startups are celebrated, it is time to recognize the vital contributions of MSMEs and ensure they receive the support they deserve.
