NAGPUR, 19 DECEMBER, 2024 (GPN): BJP MLA from Ghatkopar East Assembly Constituency, Parag Kishorchandra Shah attended the Nagpur Vidhansabha Winter Session wheelchair-bound, at the Vidhan Bhavan in Nagpur. Speaking at the Hiwali Adhiveshan (Winter Session), He said, I came to Vidhan Bhavan in Nagpur and at this time, GPN journalist interacted with me.
Responding in this regard, MLA Parag Shah said that due to an accident, my feet got injured and as a representative of the people of Ghatkopar, it is my moral duty to be present in the auditorium and I am attending the convention with the help of a wheelchair. MLA Parag Shah said that I have come to the Assembly to fulfill the duty for which I have been elected by the people.

Talking to GPN about the unfortunate incident of ‘Neelkamal’ the tourist ferry boat accident near the shore of Mumbai. Uran, karanja based Neelkamal was going to Elephanta from Gateway of India with the passengers when it collided with a Naval Ship and overturned he added, it is a huge shock for the families of the deceased. I share their sorrow. May they, or the injured migrants, find strength to overcome their sorrow, and may they find their way back home to their families safely, this is my prayer to God!
As per the info given by Navy’s Vice Admiral Sanjay Jagjit Singh, 13 persons have been declared dead by Navy doctors, including 10 civilians and 3 Navy personnel. Till now 101 passengers have been safely rescued. My tributes to the deceased. We stand in full solidarity with the grieving families during this difficult time.2 injured passengers are under treatment at the Navy hospital. I pray for their speedy recovery.
