VASAI, 5 DECEMBER, 2024 (GPN): The 12th National Vasai Virar City Municipal Corporation Marathon, scheduled for December 8, 2024, is being organized in association with
the Vasai Virar City Municipal Corporation and the Vasai Taluka Arts Sports Development Board. In preparation
for the event, Commissioner Ramesh Manale visited various locations along the marathon route and inspected the arrangements.

The inspection focused on ensuring that participants would face no difficulties during the marathon. Manale reviewed the condition of the competition route, the ongoing road repairs, and the design of directional signsalong the path. He also checked on the work related to the electrical systems, sanitation, traffic safety measures, and
barricading to ensure the smooth execution of the event.
The Municipal Corporation has been actively working on these preparations, and the Commissioner provided necessary instructions to the concerned officers and staff to ensure all aspects are properly managed for a safe and successful marathon.

The event is expected to bring together participants from various regions and promote sports and community engagement in the Vasai Virar area.
