Ramdas Athawale is remembered as the grand cannon of the Mahayuti grand alliance in the battle of Maharashtra assembly elections

Union Minister of State Adv Ramdas Athawale campaigned for the Grand Alliance across the state.
Addressed Core 60 Public Meetings (Mahasabhas) in the state.
MUMBAI, 18 NOVEMBER, 2024 (GPN)- The campaign for the assembly elections in the state ended today. The battle between Mahayuti and Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) was seen in the state. In this Maharashtra election war, the central leaders of BJP including Prime Minister Narendra Modi;  Leaders in the state;  Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis;  Shiv Sena leader and Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and NCP leader and Deputy Chief Minister Ajit dada Pawar campaigned vigorously in the state.
Leader of Maha Vikas Aghadi Rahul Gandhi;  Mallikarjun Kharge;  Sharad Pawar;  The leaders Uddhav Thackeray and Nana Patole were fighting. In all these election battles, however, the national president of the Republican Party, the Union Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment, Adv Ramdas Athavale, became the grand cannon of the  Mahayuti grand coalition who ensured strong support for the Mahayuti candidates and in this battle of assembly elections as a threat for the MVA like a grand cannon used in battles to ensure victory of Mahayuti.
Ramdas Athawale, in the midst of the assembly election campaign, covered the whole of Maharashtra in 13 days and refuted the accusations made by the Maha Vikas Aghadi against the Mahayuti in his peculiar poetical, firm, bold and sarcastic way.
Ramdas Athawale campaigned fast in the state in 13 days from Mumbai to Thane;  Konkan;  Western Maharashtra;  North Maharashtra;  Eastern and Western Vidarbha;  Ramdas Athawale held more than 60  Grand Public Meetings (Mahasabhas) covering all of Maharashtra including Marathwada.
Adv Ramdas Athawale was the top gun of the Mahayuti and was breaking down on the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA). While campaigning for the Mahayuti in the state, sometimes he reached the meeting on time by chartered flight and sometimes by helicopter. There was a huge crowd in the campaign rally of the BJP Mahayuti candidate Sunil Kamble at Tadiwala Road in Pune and the Shiv Sena candidate Dilip Mama Lande in Mumbai.
In Tadiwala road Pune the lanes there were narrow. After completing the campaign of Pune Cantonment, Ramdas Athawale wanted to go to Chhatrapati Shivaji Nagar to campaign for Siddharth Shirole. There was a huge crowd in the Tadiwala Road settlement area, and it was a challenging task to come outside the overcrowded roads and small narrow lanes.
At that time, Adv Ramdas Athawale taking a wise decision himself got into a auto rickshaw, along with Pune RPI City President Sanjay Sonwane and RPI Publicity Head Hemant Ranpise who also sat in that rickshaw to penetrate thru the crowd and narrow lanes.
From that rickshaw, Mr. Ramdas Athawale campaigned for Mahayuti candidate Sunil Kamble on Tadiwala road and came to Panchsheel Chowk on the main road where his fleet of cars came. After that he reached Chhatrapati Shivaji Nagar to campaign for Mahayuti candidate Siddharth Shirole.
Ramdas Athawale, the struggle hero of Dalit Bahujan Sangh, is also the national leadership who has come forward till now by traveling in whatever vehicle he can or even barefoot as the needs be for the campaigns. The BJP grand coalition did not give him the star campaigner status in this assembly election.
Still, the demand for more meetings than any star campaigner of Mahayuti was conducted and sufficed by the meetings of Republican Party leader Ramdas Athawale. Candidates of Mahayuti in every district of the state were insisting that Ramdas Athawale’s campaign meeting should be held in their constituency.
Shivajirao Kardile of Rahuri in Ahmednagar had publicly said in his campaign meeting that I am sure that I will be elected if Ramdas Athawale started my campaign.Because earlier at the time of campaigning against Gopinath Munde, it was Ramdas Athawale who had launched my campaign, his entry into my constituency means that I will win he further added.
On November 20, the voting for the assembly elections is on. Who will win and who will lose?  People will decide whether the Mahayuti or the Maha Vikas Aghadi will come to power.
But Ramdas Athawale’s speeches were getting great response from the public in the battleground of this assembly election. Although Ramdas Athawale is not a star campaigner of Mahayuti, he has become a superstar of Mahayuti.
Although the Cannons of the campaign have cooled down now, it is indeed certain that the common people are eager to hear the quick poem (charoli) of Ramdas Athawale as the first reaction after the 23rd November election results!
