Annual Diwali Gifts distributed to 3500 needy blind women and men in Ghatkopar

MUMBAI, 27 OCTOBER, 2024 (GPN): On behalf of Omkar Andha KEVK Society Ghatkopar Mumbai, the 36th Diwali Gift Distribution (Saprem Bhet) program for blind women and men was organized on Sunday 27th October 2024 at Arun Kumar Vaidya Maidan, Ghatkopar East Pantnagar.  As an annual program being conducted  since last 35 years this year too, on the initiative of Devre Patil, Dharmesh Giri and active members of the organization, on the occasion of Diwali, 3500 blind women and men who are deprived and needy have been distributed by Omkar Andha KEVK society with gifts of food including  Diwali Faral (Snacks), Kirana Items (Groceries), Sweets etc.

The chief guest on this occasion was Namramuni Maharaj, Ex-MP Manoj Kotak, MLA Parag Shah, Developer Sundar Bhai Shah, Chandrakant Ghoghari, along with chief office bearers of the organization Devre Patil, Dharmesh Giri, Nitin Shah, Vipul Mehta etc., distributed the gifts to the blind men and women.  Meanwhile, all the participants were provided with food and drink.  These Diwali gift items have benefited 3500 blind brothers and sisters in Konkan, Vidarbha, Marathwada, West Maharashtra and Mumbai across the state.  In this way, Diwali gift items are being distributed at appropriate places in the state and in Gujarat, this Omkar Andha KEVK society is distributing Diwali gift items every year according to the organizers Devare Patil and Dharmesh Giri.  The active members of the organization worked hard in this distribution program.  Ashok T., a member of Omkar Andha KEVK Society, made this initiative a success.  Devre Patil, Dharmesh Giri, Pravinbhau Tanna, Vipulbhai Mehta (Photographer), Kamleshbhai Tosani (Caterer), Dr.  Anil Semwal, Nirupa Nitin Shah, Sachin Ruparel, Vipul K.  Parekh, Bhavesh Giri etc. and colleagues made this Diwali gift program a success with hard work.

३५०० गरजू अंध महिला पुरुषांना दीपावलीची वार्षिक भेट

मुंबई :- ओंकार अंध केईव्हीके सोसायटी घाटकोपर मुंबई या सामाजिक संस्थेच्या वतीने अंध महिला पुरुषांना ३६ वा दीपावली सप्रेम भेट कार्यक्रम घाटकोपर पूर्व पंतनगर येथील अरुणकुमार वैद्य मैदान येथे रविवार दिनांक २७ ऑक्टोबर २०२४ रोजी आयोजित करण्यात आला होता. सालाबादप्रमाणे याही वर्षी संस्थेचे सक्रिय सदस्य देवरे पाटील, धर्मेश गिरी यांच्या पुढाकारातून दीपावली निमित्त जे वंचित आणि गरजू आहेत असे ३५०० अंध महिला पुरुष व्यक्तींना ओंकार अंध केईव्हीके सोसायटी तर्फे फराळी किराणा, मिठाई इत्यादींसह खाद्यपदार्थांच्या भेटवस्तू वितरण करण्यात आले आहे. यावेळी प्रमुख पाहुणे नम्रमुनी महाराज,
माजी खासदार मनोज कोटक, आमदार पराग शाह, विकासक सुंदर भाई शाह, चंद्रकांत घोघरी, यांच्यासह संस्थेचे प्रमुख पदाधिकारी देवरे पाटील, धर्मेश गिरी, नितीन शाह, विपुल मेहता आदीसह कार्यकर्त्यांच्या हस्ते भेट वस्तू वाटप करण्यात आले. दरम्यान सर्व सहभागी झालेल्या गर्जुना सर्व खाण्यापिण्याची व्यवस्था करण्यात आली होती. या दिपावली भेट वस्तूंचा राज्य भरातील कोकण, विदर्भ, मराठवाडा, पश्चिम महाराष्ट्र आणि मुंबई येथील ३५०० अंध बंधू बघिणी आणि विधवा बहिणींना लाभ मिळाला आहे. अशा प्रकारे राज्य भरात ठीक ठिकाणी दिपावली भेट वस्तू वाटप करण्यात येत असून गुजरातमध्ये ही ओमकार अंध केईव्हीके सोसायटी तर्फे दिपावली भेट वस्तूंचे वाटप करत असल्याचे आयोजक देवरे पाटील व धर्मेश गिरी यांनी सांगितले. या वाटप कार्यक्रमात संस्थेच्या कार्यकर्ते सदस्यांनी प्रचंड मेहनत घेतली. हा उपक्रम यशस्वी करण्यासाठी ओंकार अंध केईव्हीके सोसायटी चे सदस्य अशोक टी. देवरेपाटील, धर्मेश गिरी, प्रविणभाऊ तन्ना, विपुलभाई मेहता (छायाचित्रकार), कमलेशभाई ठोसानी (केटरर), डॉ. अनिल सेमवाल, निरुपा नितीन शहा,सचिन रूपारेल, विपुल के. पारेख, भावेश गिरी आदिसह सहकाऱ्यांनी मेहनत घेऊन हा दीपावली भेट कार्यक्रम यशस्वी केला.
