CAST YOUR OPINION FOR THE FACE OF CM –HERE

MUMBAI, 12 OCTOBER, 2024 (GPN): Maharashtra Assembly Election 2024: The dates for the Maharashtra Assembly elections are going to be announced soon. In such a situation, who will be the chief ministerial face in the Mahayuti and Mahavikas Aghadi, this remains the biggest question. Meanwhile, a statement by Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister and senior BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis has come out regarding the CM face of the Mahayuti.

While talking to GPN, Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis said, “There is no dispute in Mahayuti about the CM’s face. Chief Minister Eknath Shinde is the head of the government and we are going to the elections keeping this government in front. After the elections, Shiv Sena President Eknath Shinde, NCP President Ajit Pawar and our parliamentary board will take a decision on this. Whatever is decided in this will be acceptable to everyone.”

MAHAYUTI has not announced the CM face- In fact, before the Maharashtra assembly elections , the BJP, Shiv Sena Eknath Shinde faction and NCP Ajit Pawar faction, which are part of the Mahayuti, have not announced the CM face. However, the supporters of the parties involved in it have been expressing their desire for their respective leaders to become CM.

Shiv Sena UBT had demanded to declare CM face.
Let us tell you that after the Haryana assembly elections, the Shiv Sena Uddhav Thackeray faction included in the Mahavikas Aghadi once again reiterated the demand to declare the CM face of MVA before the elections. However, the demand of Shiv Sena UBT was again rejected by the Congress.

Congress denied this, citing that their party does not have a tradition of announcing the face of the Chief Minister before the elections. Apart from this, Congress also claimed that the Sharad Pawar faction included in the MVA also wants that the Chief Minister should be decided only after winning the elections.

Assembly elections in Maharashtra have not been announced yet, but the turmoil has begun. Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar says that everything is fine in the ruling alliance Mahayuti of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Shiv Sena and Nationalist Congress Party (NCP). Chief Minister Eknath Shinde says that the ‘Mahayuti’ is ready for the Maharashtra Assembly elections… but is it really so? In fact, Ajit Pawar recently left the cabinet meeting early. After this, questions started arising whether everything is fine in the Mahayuti? Experts of Maharashtra politics say that the phase of power display has begun in the state. The time has come to tell the voters who has how much strength, because in the electoral battle, the bigger the stature of the person, the more he will benefit.

Has the pressure game started in Maharashtra?
Ajit Pawar has played with BJP once before. He had formed a government with BJP, but then he parted ways. But BJP once again took a chance and included Shiv Sena as well as NCP and formed a grand alliance. Elections for the 288-member assembly seats of Maharashtra may be held next month. Therefore, the pressure game has started now, which will continue till the seat sharing among the grand alliance. Ajit Pawar has not said anything yet… But Pawar’s brief presence in the important cabinet meeting held in Mumbai on Thursday surprised people, especially because many financially important decisions were taken in his absence. Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has made his intentions clear by taking important decisions in the absence of Ajit Pawar. Now it will be interesting to see what Ajit Pawar’s answer is to this.

The market of speculation is increasing regarding Ajit Pawar
Ajit Pawar can heat up the political atmosphere before the Maharashtra elections. He is constantly expanding his family. Differences arose after the presence of the Nationalist Congress Party led by Ajit Pawar in the ruling ‘Mahayuti’ alliance in Maharashtra and his party’s opposition to the anti-Muslim propaganda of some BJP leaders. After this, there is constant speculation in Maharashtra politics. Meanwhile, the market of speculations became even hotter when Ajit Pawar left the cabinet meeting midway.

Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar tried to put an end to the speculations that started after he left the cabinet meeting early, saying on Friday that everything is fine in the ruling alliance Mahayuti of Bharatiya Janata Party, Shiv Sena and Nationalist Congress Party. He said, ‘I had to leave early to attend a scheduled program in Ahmedpur of Marathwada region. All the decisions taken yesterday have my approval.’ Pawar said, ‘Everything is fine and speculations of any dispute in the state cabinet meeting are baseless.’ After Ajit Pawar left, 38 decisions were taken in the meeting that lasted for two and a half hours, many of which were very important financially.

Congress alleges- Ajit Pawar is being sidelined
Meanwhile, Congress has started trying to break the Mahayuti. Congress leader of opposition Vijay Wadettiwar said that efforts are being made to sideline Ajit Pawar. It is also being seen that disputes are being seen in almost every cabinet meeting. This dispute between the ruling parties is not in the interest of the people of the state. Wadettiwar alleged that some such decisions are being taken in the Mahayuti, which Ajit Pawar does not approve of. Therefore, he kept distance from the cabinet meeting, so that the blame cannot be put on him.

Is Ajit Pawar going to take any big step?
Will Ajit Pawar’s next step change the political equation of Maharashtra? If this happens, then the upcoming assembly elections of Maharashtra will become very interesting. Because at present Shiv Sena and NCP are the parties in Maharashtra, which have split into two parts. Now it will also be known how the people of Maharashtra are looking at these decisions. In such a situation, the steps taken by Ajit Pawar will play an important role in deciding his future.
