MUMBAI, 7 OCTOBER, 2024 (GPN): Under the Direction and Leadership of Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde and MLA Pratap Sarnaik, founder and Chairman of the Pro Govinda  India League, Purvesh Sarnaik, President of Pro Govinda League, Mazhar Nadiadwala, League Director of Pro Govinda League and Mohomed Morani, League Director of Pro Govinda League Govinda’s team from Maharashtra won the ‘Concur Internationals 2024’ in Spain.

The competition is one of the prestigious international competitions in the art of building human towers (Govinda Pathak). Purvesh Saranaik and a delegation from Maharashtra visited the famous ‘Concur Festival’ at ‘Del Pendes Villa Franca’ in Spain.The festival is culturally related to the Dahi Handi festival celebrated in Mumbai and Thane and features human towers.

This time, the team from Maharashtra got an opportunity to collaborate with ‘Castellars Villa Franca’, one of the world’s most successful human tower builders.In this event, both teams practiced building towers together and shared human tower building skills with each other. Mayor of Villa Franca City welcomed Purvesh Saranaik and the Indian delegation as guests of honour.

The highlight of the tour was the resounding victory of the Indian team at the ‘Concur Internationals 2024’, which featured 12 teams from countries as diverse as Switzerland, Denmark, France, Norway and Andorra. This victory made the name of Maharashtra and India famous globally.

The entire tour was well organized and managed under the leadership of Maharashtra State Dahi Handi Association President Surendra Panchal, Abhishek Surve and Geeta Zagde. Due to their tireless efforts, India was successfully represented in international competitions.

Purvesh Sarnaik and the Indian team also thanked ‘Castellars Villa Franca’ team president Ernest Gallert, former president Mikael Fert and former team captain Tony Bach.

स्पेनमध्ये झालेल्या ‘कॉनकुर इंटरनॅशनल्स २०२४’ स्पर्धेत भारताच्या महाराष्ट्राच्या गोविंदाने मारली बाजी

१२ देशाच्या संघाशी स्पर्धा करत भारताच्या गोविंदांनी उमटवली विजयाची मोहोर

महाराष्ट्राचे मुख्यमंत्री श्री. एकनाथ शिंदे यांच्या नेतृत्वाखाली व आमदार श्री. प्रताप सरनाईक यांच्या मार्गदर्शनाखाली प्रो गोविंदा लीगचे अध्यक्ष पुर्वेश सरनाईक यांच्या नेतृत्वाखाली महाराष्ट्रातील गोविंदांचा संघ स्पेनमध्ये ‘कॉनकुर इंटरनॅशनल्स २०२४’ स्पर्धेत विजयी झाला. ही स्पर्धा मानवी मनोरे बांधण्याच्या कलेतील प्रतिष्ठित आंतरराष्ट्रीय स्पर्धांपैकी एक आहे.

पुर्वेश सरनाईक आणि महाराष्ट्रातील शिष्टमंडळाने स्पेनमधील ‘डेल पेनडेस विला फ्रांका’ येथे प्रसिद्ध ‘कॉनकुर फेस्टिवल’ला भेट दिली. हा सण मुंबई आणि ठाण्यात साजऱ्या होणाऱ्या दहीहंडी उत्सवाशी सांस्कृतिकदृष्ट्या संबंधित आहे आणि यामध्ये मानवी मनोरे सादर करण्यात येतात.

यावेळी, महाराष्ट्राच्या संघाला ‘कॅस्टेलर्स विला फ्रांका’ या जगातील सर्वात यशस्वी मानवी मनोरे बांधणाऱ्या संघासोबत सहयोग करण्याची संधी मिळाली. या कार्यक्रमात दोन्ही संघांनी एकत्रित मनोरे बांधण्याचा सराव केला व एकमेकांच्या मानवी मनोरे उभारणाच्या कौशल्याचे आदान-प्रदान केले. या भेटीत विला फ्रांका शहराचे महापौर यांनी पुर्वेश सरनाईक आणि भारतीय शिष्टमंडळाचे सन्माननीय पाहुणे म्हणून स्वागत केले.

या दौऱ्याचे मुख्य आकर्षण होते ‘कॉनकुर इंटरनॅशनल्स २०२४’ स्पर्धेत भारताच्या संघाचा भव्य विजय, ज्यामध्ये स्वित्झर्लंड, डेन्मार्क, फ्रान्स, नॉर्वे आणि अँडोरा यांसारख्या विविध देशांतील १२ संघांचा समावेश होता. या विजयामुळे महाराष्ट्र आणि भारताचे नाव जागतिक पातळीवर गाजले.

या संपूर्ण दौऱ्याचे आयोजन आणि व्यवस्थापन महाराष्ट्र राज्य दहीहंडी संघटनेचे अध्यक्ष सुरेंद्र पांचाळ, अभिषेक सुर्व आणि गीता झगडे यांच्या नेतृत्वाखाली उत्तमरीत्या पार पडले. त्यांच्या अथ्थक प्रयत्नांमुळे भारताचे आंतरराष्ट्रीय स्पर्धेत सशक्त प्रतिनिधित्व करण्यास यश मिळाले.

पुर्वेश सरनाईक आणि भारतीय संघाने ‘कॅस्टेलर्स विला फ्रांका’ संघाचे अध्यक्ष अर्नेस्ट गॅलर्ट, माजी अध्यक्ष मिकेल फेरट आणि माजी संघ कर्णधार टोनी बाख यांचे आभार मानले. या सहयोगामुळे भारत आणि स्पेन यांच्यातील सांस्कृतिक संबंध अधिक दृढ झाले असून, मानवी मनोरे बांधण्याच्या या कलेचे तांत्रिकदृष्ट्या आदान-प्रदान करण्यास फायदा होईल, असा विश्वास पुर्वेश सरनाईक यांनी व्यक्त केला.

महाराष्ट्राचे मुख्यमंत्री श्री एकनाथ शिंदे यांच्या नेतृत्वाखाली व आमदार प्रताप सरनाईक यांच्या मार्गदर्शनाखाली झालेल्या या ऐतिहासिक दौऱ्यामुळे महाराष्ट्राचे गोविंदा आंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तरावर आपली कर्तबगारी सिद्ध करू शकले. यामुळे दोन्ही राष्ट्रांतील सांस्कृतिक बंध दृढ झाले आणि महाराष्ट्राच्या गोविंदांनी जागतिक स्तरावर एकता, सामर्थ्य, आणि जिद्दीचे प्रदर्शन केले.
