Hinduhridaysamrat Balasaheb Thackeray Aapla Dawakhana – Mobile HBT Centres (Mobile Clinics)
Mumbai suburban guardian minister and MLA, Mangal Prabhat Lodha Inaugurates ‘Hinduhrdayasmarat Balasaheb Thackeray Aapla Dawakhana’ Mobile Health Screening Centers (HBT Mobile Clinics) Launched by BMC in Chembur, Mumbai
MUMBAI, 3 OCTOBER, 2024 (GPN): Hinduhridaysamrat Balasaheb Thackeray Aapla Dawakhana, also known as HBT clinics, are aimed at providing better healthcare access and free medical treatment options close to a patient’s home. Some of the clinics also offer free blood tests.
BMC’s health system provides health services to Mumbaikars and citizens from other places as well. Through ‘Hinduhrdayasmarat Balasaheb Thackeray Aapla Dawakhana’ the municipal corporation’s health services have expanded to every corner of Mumbai.
As a plan for the expansion of Mobile HBT Centres (Mobile Clinics), Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation Commissioner and Administrator Bhushan Gagrani gave instructions to provide regular health facilities to padas and slums in relatively remote areas like Sanjay Gandhi National Park, Aarey Colony, Gorai Village etc.
Mumbai suburban guardian minister and local MLA, Mangal Prabhat Lodha inaugurated the HBT Mobile Inspection Centers at JBCN International School in Chembur today. On this occasion, Executive Health Officer of the Municipal Corporation Dr. (Mrs.) Daksha Shah, and Officials of M/s Americaers India Foundation were present.
One mobile vehicle out of these two mobile centers will serve the Aarey Colony division of P South Division. Meanwhile, through the second vehicle, medical services will be provided in Anna Bhau Sathe Nagar, Lotus Vasahat, Rafi Nagar, Chita Camp areas in M East Division.
The service hours of this mobile health screening center will be from 9 am to 4 pm.
Both these Mobile Health Screening Centers (mobile vehicles) have been made available under the corporate social responsibility (CSR) principle through M/s Americaers India Foundation. 1 Medical Officer, 1 Nurse, 1 Pharmacist and 1 Multipurpose Worker have been appointed in this center through Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC).
Through this center, citizens of remote areas can avail free check-up, free consultation, free medication. Executive Health Officer Dr. (Mrs.) Daksha Shah gave instructions and information on this occasion.
