MUMBAI, 13 SEPTEMBER, 2024 (GPN): The ‘ Constitution Mandir Lokarpan ‘ program will be held in 434 Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) of the state by the Skill Development Department on September 15 at the hands of Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhad. Similarly , PM Narendra Modi launched ‘ Acharya Chanakya Skill Development Center ‘ and ‘ Punyashlok Ahilya Devi Startup Yojana ‘ in one thousand colleges of the state . Skill Development Minister Mangal Prabhat Lodha informed that it will be held on September 20 .

Minister Mr. Lodha was speaking at a press conference held at Ministry Legislature Press Room. Secretary of Skill Development Department Ganesh Patil , Joint Chief Executive Officer of State Innovation Society Vikas Naik were present on this occasion.

The inauguration of Constitution Temple on World Democracy Day at 434 ITIs in the state will be held in the presence of Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhad and Governor CP Radhakrishnan, CM Eknath Shinde , Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis , Deputy CM Ajit Pawar , Minister for Skills , Employment , Entrepreneurship and Innovation Mangalprabhat Lodha on Sunday 15 September 2024 at the Elphinstone Technical College at 11 am. Every student will be taught about our Indian Constitution and this activity will be implemented so that the thoughts of Bharat Ratna Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar can be known to the present generation.

The Acharya Chanakya Skill Development Center and Punyashlok Ahilya Devi Startup Yojana in 1000 colleges of the state will be launched by PM Narendra Modi at Wardha on September 20. The program will be attended by PM Narendra Modi , Governor CP Radhakrishnan , Chief Minister Eknath Shinde , Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari. , Union Industries Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi , Union Textiles Minister Giriraj Singh , Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis , Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar , Forest Minister Sudhir Mungantiwar , Higher and Technical Education Chandrakant Patil, Mangalprabhat Lodha said.

Vocational education has gained importance in the new National Education Policy, 2020. “Acharya Chanakya Skill Development Center” under the implementation of this policy has been launched. Skill development training center will be established in one thousand reputed colleges. In this skill development center, about 150 youths will be given free skill development training every year. Due to this, about 150,000 youth in the age group of 15 to 45 will get free skill development training in the entire state every year.

Punyashlok Ahilya Devi Holkar Mahila Startup Yojana has been launched to provide funding and financial support to women startups for the empowerment of women. In this scheme, the objective of the scheme is to make the women startups in the state self-reliant and self-sufficient , to create the identity of Maharashtra as the state with the highest number of women startups in the country. Funds of 100 crores have been allocated for this scheme, and financial assistance of up to 25 lakhs will be given to about one thousand startups.

Minister Lodha said , ” Many skilled and righteous personalities contributed to build our country India. Today, due to their hard work, we have been able to progress so far. Through the Constitution Temple, our effort is to make the coming generation understand the history of constitution making and its importance . It is a time of youth power, our aim is to build a skill development center in India . Thank you all!”
