MUMBAI, 13 SEPTEMBER, 2024 (GPN): The children of Aadhartirth Ashram School in Trimbakeshwar, which is a shelter for the children of suicide farmers, were specially invited to attend the House Ganpati festival today at Varsha Bungalow, the official residence of CM Eknath Shinde.
The CM residence echoed and resounded by the praise of ‘Ganpati Bappa Morya’ by the children of Aadhartirth Ashram School which is a shelter home and orphanage for children of suicide farmers.
The children performed aarti to Lord Ganaraya with great joy forgetting their pain, sorrow and suffering.
The problem is that these children have to walk to and from school. On this, the Chief Minister directed to provide buses for these children. It was promptly implemented and a new force make new tempo traveller bus was brought to Varsha by evening and handed over to the Mahant of this ashram school, Shri Shivaswarupananda.
The children took darshan of Ganapati Bappa installed in the abode of Varsha. After this, MP Dr. Srikant Shinde, was joined by CM Eknath Shinde in performing the aarti of Shri Ganaraya with great enthusiasm to the sound of drums.
On this occasion, MP Dr. Srikant Shinde , Chief Minister’s wife Smt. Vrishali Shinde , former MP Hemant Patil , his wife Smt. Rajshree Patil and others were present.
Sneh Bhojan was also organized for these children on the occasion of Shri Ganesha Darshan. The children dressed as farmers , wearing caps on their heads, came and sat on the table chairs with great discipline. For them, today was the feast of Panchpakwana. The bright-eyed children began to eat, but were too shy to ask for the food again or take the food in front of CM. Finally, the Chief Minister realized their problem and took action. Chief Minister Mr. Shinde himself began to serve each food item and urge them affectionately to eat. The Chief Minister had a heart-to-heart chat with these children. The Mahant explained their difficulties. The Chief Minister learned about some of the problems faced by the Aadhartirtha Ashram and gave instructions to solve them immediately.
In the evening, a new bus was brought to the premises of Varsha Residence. The Chief Minister handed over this bus to the ashram after worshiping it with chanting of ‘Ganpati Bappa Mourya’. All these children, accepting the hospitality of the Chief Minister and keeping sweet memories of Varsha Bungalow in their hearts, sat in the new luxury bus and bade farewell to Varsha with an obliged overwhelmed look.
