‘Rising Rajasthan’ Global Investment Summit 2024, 1st Mumbai Roadshow witnesses signing of several investment related MoUs & one- on-one interaction of Hon’ble CM with Industry Leaders

Rajasthan Government has lined up domestic and international roadshows at key destinations to attract investors to the upcoming investment summit in Jaipur

Top Industry Tycoons will share experience of investing in Rajasthan and ongoing industrial transformation of the state under the leadership of Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma.

MUMBAI, 30 AUGUST, 2024 (GPN): In the run up to the ‘Rising Rajasthan’ Global Investment Summit 2024 planned on December 9, 10 and 11 this year, Government of Rajasthan is organizing the first domestic roadshow in Mumbai today. Led by Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma and graced by Hon’ble Minister for Industries, Col. Rajyavardhan Rathore, the event will feature signing of investment MoUs worth several lakh crores of rupees, launch of the ‘Rising Rajasthan’ website, one-on-one discussions of Hon’ble CM with prominent Industry leaders among others.

Prominent Industry leaders who have invested in Rajasthan will share their experiences of investing in the state, along with the industrial transformation and infrastructure creation that they have witnessed under the leadership of Hon’ble Chief Minister. A short film showcasing the recent spurt of investment in the state will also be displayed before the august attendees.

Apart from Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Sharma and Hon’ble Industry Minister Col. Rathore, many top officials of the Rajasthan Government will also be present at the Mumbai Road Show. This includes Shri Sudhansh Pant, Chief Secretary, Government of Rajasthan Government, Shri Shikhar Aggarwal, Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) to the Chief Minister, Shri Ajitabh Sharma, Principal Secretary of the Industry Department and Chairman of RIICO Limited, Shri Rohit Gupta, Commissioner of the Industry Department and other top officials of the state government.

Organized in association with Summit Industry Partner, Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), the first domestic roadshow at India’s commercial capital, Mumbai, will set the tempo for subsequent domestic and international roadshows that are going to be

organized at Delhi, Hyderabad, Chennai, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, UAE, Saudi Arabia, the United Kingdom and Germany.

The purpose of these roadshows is to raise awareness about the upcoming summit, attract valuable investors to Rajasthan and showcase the state as the most preferred Investment destination. A high-level delegation from the Rajasthan Government will also be traveling across the world to invite investors, institutions, corporations, and industries for investing in the state.

The 3-day mega summit, which will be held in Rajasthan’s capital Jaipur on 9th, 10th and 11th December 2024, aims to attract and facilitate global investment, innovation, and partnerships in the state. The global summit is organized with the support of the Industry and Commerce Department, Bureau of Investment Promotion (BIP), and RIICO, with BIP serving as the nodal department for this summit.

During the summit, special plenary sessions will be organised on different focus sectors, including Agriculture, Renewable, Education and Skilling, Auto and EV, Infrastructure, Chemical and Petro-chemical, Tourism, Startups, Mining and ESDM/IT & ITeS and others. Through the summit, the Government of Rajasthan aims to bring investments to these focus sectors, so as to achieve the dream of making the state into a USD 350 billion economy in next 5 years.

Additionally, Sectoral Pre-Summits will also be organized on themes such as Tourism, Industries, Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, Mines and Petroleum, Energy, Medical & Health and School Education/ Higher & Technical Education etc. in October and November in the run-up to the ‘Rising Rajasthan’ Global Investment Summit.Ends
