MUMBAI, 25 AUGUST, 2024 (GPN): GSB Seva Mandal, recognised as the richest Ganpati mandal in Mumbai, has procured aRecord Insurance cover worth INR 400.58 Crores for Ganesh Chaturthi 2024 celebrations breaking it’s last year insurance cover of a all high INR 316.40 Crores.”

This substantial insurance cover underscores the significance and scale of the festivities organised by the GSB King’s Circle Mandal. GSB Seva Mandal’s Richest Lord Ganesha Idol at King’s Circle, Mumbai is also known as MahaGanapati. Devotees also rever it as “NAVSALA PAVNARA VISHWACHA RAJA”(Wish fulfilling God of devotees) | नवसाला पावणारा विश्वाचा राजा due to his countless miracles and infinite divine blessings on his devotees all over the world.

Pai, Chairman & Spokesperson of GSB Seva Mandal told GPN, “As the day is nearing for the Ganeshotsav celebrations, many other preparations are racing.Insurance coverage is a critical component of preparation.Being a responsible Mandal, its our foremost responsibility to secure each of the devotee of Lord MahaGanapati. Previous year in 2023, we had taken an insurance cover of a record INR 360.40 Crores. Preceding that in 2022 it was Rs 316.40 crore and It’s Now A 2024 RECORD BREAKING GANESHOTSAV INSURANCE COVER for whooping INR 400.58 Crores.”

The Insurance is done by The New India Insurance Co. Ltd.

Break-up as follows:
• *INR 43.15 Crores*: All Risk Insurance Policy covers for a variety of risks that includes Gold, Silver and Jewellery.

• *INR 02 Crore*: Standard Fire and Special Peril Policy with Earthquake Risk covers items like Furniture, Fixtures & Fittings, Installations such as Computers, CCTV Cameras, QR scanners, Utensils, Grocery, Fruits & Vegetables.

• *INR 30 Crores*: The Public liability which covers Pandals, Stadiums, Devotees etc. is secured.

• *INR 325 Crores*: The Personal Accident Insurance cover for Volunteers, Archaks, Cooks, Gadis, Chappal Stall Workers, Valet Parking Persons, Security Guards, etc.

• *INR 43 Lacs*: The Standard Fire & Special Peril Policy for the venue premises.

Ganesh Chaturthi, a significant Hindu festival, is celebrated annually to honour Lord Ganesha, the son of Goddess Gauri. We also take utmost care of the environmental balance, so their MahaGanapati’s idol is made up of a specific Clay (Shaadu Maati), grass, and Naturally Extracted Water colors, which means MahaGanapati’s idol is Eco-friendly.It is also the only pandal where the rituals are performed round the clock for the entire duration of the festival.

“This year we at GSB Seva Mandal are celebrating 70th Year of Lord MahaGanapati’s arrival on the VIRAT DARSHAN DAY (The first look unveiling event) on 05th September 2024 and GANESHOTSAV beginning from 07th September 2024 till 11th September 2024.”said Shri. SPECIAL ATTRACTION:
• We are the only Mandal in the city where the rituals (Pooja’s / Archana’s / Seva’s / Annadaan) are being performed round the clock according to Rigveda and our traditions. On an average, around 60,000+ Pooja’s / Seva’s are offered to Lord MahaGanapati by the Devotees / Sevedars at our pendol.

• More than 20,000+ people per day and 1,00,000+ people in 5 days take the benefit of Annadaan Seva, basically the Prasad Bhojan served on Banana Leaf.

• We also take utmost care of the environmental balance, that our MahaGanapati’s idol is made up of a specific Natural Clay (Shaadu Maati), Grass and Naturally Extracted Water Colors which clearly means our MahaGanapati’s idol is ECO-FRIENDLY. In 2024, Ganesh Chaturthi will be observed on September 7, marking the beginning of the 10-day Ganesh Festival. The celebrations will conclude on Anant Chaturdashi, which falls on September 17, 2024, with the immersion of the Ganesh idol, symbolising his return to Kailash.
