And because of this firm belief, NCP has decided to launch a preamble campaign across the state to convey this message, clarified Tatkare.
This country belongs to all religions. Just like the Gita, Ramayana, Bible, and Quran are dear to us, so is the Constitution. Therefore, under the leadership of Ajit Dada, we will be organizing a Constitution reading on August 15. NCP’s National President Ajit Dada will lead the event in Pune, I will be at the state office, National Working President Praful Patel in Gondia, senior leader and Minister Chhagan Bhujbal in Nashik, and all senior leaders, ministers, MLAs, district presidents, and taluka presidents will read the preamble of the Constitution, it was further clarified.
In our manifesto for the Lok Sabha elections, the preamble of the Constitution was presented on the first page. We are progressing in our political journey based on the ideologies, principles, and values of Shivaji, Shahu, Phule, and Ambedkar. On this Independence Day, we are taking a unique initiative to further strengthen these values through this Constitution campaign, Tatkare added.
“We Indians love the Constitution and that is why we will hold the community reading of the Constitution on August 15 under the leadership of Ajit Pawar, national president of NCP,” he said.
Asserting that the Constitution is the soul of the country, NCP-AP chief said that it is because of this belief that they are going to carry out such a campaign in the state.
