Mumbai’s Aavya Gupta receives Special Appreciation Award in All India Dance Competition for Bharatnatyam

MUMBAI, 16 JUNE, 2023 (GPN): Mumbai-based 7-year-old Aavya Gupta has brought honors to the city of Mumbai as well as the entire state of Maharashtra by winning the Special Appreciation Award in classical dance form – Bharatnatyam at the All India Dance Drama Competition.

The 68th All India Dance Drama Competition was organized by All India Artist Association from June 6 to June 10 in Shimla in which 380 participants from 19 states participated.

Hundreds of contestants took part in this dance competition from Maharashtra. Aavya Gupta, participated in the sub-junior category and she was the youngest in the entire dance competition.
